rewriting again for dearest comfy, easycache shouldn't blow out the audio tensors which causes music and other fine features to drop

Bug — ComfyUI, comfy_extras/nodes_easycache.py: EasyCache's audio-aware branch is gated on isinstance(data, list), which only matches LTX2's [video, audio] pair — MiniMax-H3 passes a comfy.nested_tensor.NestedTensor, so that branch is dead code and both streams collapse into a single norm (output.flatten().abs().mean()) that video dominates roughly 90:1. The consequence is that EasyCache silently deletes H3's generated score (−7.5 dB RMS, reproducible across independent runs) while the video looks correct, and the fix is to recognise the nested pair alongside the list form so the existing per-stream cache path actually runs.

CFG1 increases the speed. Here's a wrong explanation: usually what happens is that the positive prompt gens an image, and a negative prompt gens an image, and the image you see is the positive with the negative subtracted. With no negative prompts, you gen twice as fast, at the cost of having no negative prompt. When a model is set up with way, there are sometimes way to get around it, so wait and see.

lmfao come on man
we've been sitting on WAN for years, now we got the hot new thing and it's just slightly better and it can still only do like 15 seconds
5 years from now we'll be lucky if we can make a 1 minute video and it'll only take 20mins to gen on a 7080 or whatever
>>
>>109450540
That's not the worse trade, the benefit of these models are they make less mistakes so 20 minutes for 1 minute is doable and it's unrealistic to think you can one-shot a 20 minute video, in real life you don't even one-shot single 30 second takes. Video generation wasn't even a thing 5 years ago and many people were insisting it wouldn't be a thing for ages to come.
Making any predictions about AI and where it's going to be in 5 years is basically impossible.
But we do know it's advancing fast as fuck and has so far surprised everyone, especially in the local front.
It's better to make predictions more ambitious than conservative in this sector.

Yes I'm seriously quoting some retard, just like I'm going to quote you in a few years about how things totally aren't happening for years and years.
SD 1.5 outputting videos is at best a proof of concept, not actual video generation that was usable by any metric and people didn't treat it as such.
You might as well say that some university was able to put out a generated video in the late 80's so technically this has been a thing for ages.
Vid related was used as an example by the frontier about insanely good video generation and people said it wouldn't be available for local in years because it was so amazing.
This was in early 2024 and the hardware requirements for this were pretty damn high.
Yet now you can do better on your computer under a minute.
You and a lot of other people are severely underestimating the speed of AI progress and have the memory of a goldfish about how things were just few years ago.

>>109450784

It's about the general sentiment and based on those upvotes people agreed with him over the other guy.
And I do remember what folks were saying about video generation back then. It was considered a total pipe dream and this was a sentiment among a shitload of people.
Same way people have been screeching about robotics not happening for +100 years and look where we are now.
It's always funny that these masses seem to always disappear when those advancements do happen and they pretend they always knew things were just around the corner.
>>

Okay I'm going to give you the technical breakdown of why you live in fantasyland. Let's assume a 50% more complex model than Minimax H3 since we still have a problem with base gen quality, then give a basic stat sheet of a computer than use that model and even generate a 5 minute clip.

Option 1:
15-second chunks, INT8/FP8, staged loading: 48–64 GB -- 1× 64–80 GB GPU -- Do you have a 6000 Pro? Going to predict they're going to be less than $8000 in 5 years? But in reality you better be planning on a 128 GB of VRAM or more. So will these videos be possible? Sure. But you're going to need a $25,000 computer and there's not a single suggestion that any of these components will be going down in price in the next 5 years and you'll be lucky of a 6090 isn't $5000 and only has 48 GB of VRAM.

Just decrease megapixels.

It took me until today to realize the benefit of measuring things in megapixels. Basically: it makes your input resolution irrelevant, so regardless if your input image is 5000x5000 or 1280x720 or 720x1280, you can resize them all to 0.4 megapixels and it'll invent a new resolution that retains their aspect ratio and take the same length of time to generate.

Actually I can predict the next 5 years pretty accurately and the trajectory is already pretty obvious. As a reminder SD 1.5 is 4 years old and we have 5 second videos with audio that requires a $2000 computer to realistically run. Your prediction is unrealistic, we'd be extremely lucky to have 30 second videos within the next 5 years and that's not an unrealistic prediction based on the literal facts how attention works.

At this point you're not talking about it being a technical limitation, but rather a financial one.
25k computer wouldn't even be that bad as far as hobbies go. If you're into photography then chances are you have spent at bare minimum that amount on a single camera body and couple of lenses.
Even total normies without hobbies buy cars all the time that cost more than that.
Computer hardware even at current prices isn't that expensive.
If you really want to penny pinch to just get a lot of memory, you can right now get yourself 160gb of VRAM for about 5 grand by stacking 5060 Ti's, which would be twice as fast as a DGX Spark so perfectly usable.

It is a technical limitation as my description is only for 15 second videos, so you need a $25,000 computer to make 15 second videos (maybe) in 5 years. Go to 30 seconds and the requirements quadruple. 80 GB -> 320 GB. So yes anon, you can technically run a SOTA model like Kimi, if you have a million dollar server cluster and a power grid contract.
>>
I really don't understand how dynamic vram works. I always had it disablefd but I let it be on to run H3. 3090 + 64gb ram, 1.1mp @ 13s and I am getting 207s/it. vram is only at 17/24gb used during inference, ram is at 39/64gb usage. I have --disable-pinned-memory --vram-headroom 1 flags set so why isn't it using more vram? How can you even tell what/how much is being offloaded? When I was first genning earlier it was using all my vram, now it's not and idk why. Really annoying how comfy feels like a black box you can't control when the whole point of nodes is to be able to control and tweak everything.

how is that a bad thing? old movies were 10-15 second cuts, modern movies are ~5 seconds.

Okay let's go with that price range then.
You could get 2x5090 along with 64gb of ram and everything else needed for a rig for the price of a single camera body and those lenses.
Yet if you suggest that someone buys even a single 5090 at current prices, then they have to be some kind of a richfag as this is completely unattainable by normies, which is absolute bullshit.
The point is that PC hardware is still extremely affordable. People just think it's not because it's been piss cheap thus far.

not same anon just comment on the side: elevenlab's chokehold was gone already with like... vibevoice omnivoice and at least 2 other models I don't remember right now

and someone had managed to hack ltx for audio somehow to also be really powerful at audio IIRC

but h3 model is good at audio OOTB. maybe not SOTA, the other models may already pull off something difficult like "Stardenburdenhardenbart" in various accents and voices and have slightly better inflection etc. ... but still really good OOTB.

and usually it has a much less weird choice of music/sound effects etc. than ltx too.

Codex fixed all my shit for me, SAAS fixing local

Your old runtime had three major H3 memory optimizations disabled:
Torch 2.5 was too old for DynamicVRAM.
CUDA 12.4 disabled Comfy Kitchen’s native H3 quantized kernels.
H3 consequently loaded approximately 20 GB onto a 24 GB GPU, leaving almost no sampling workspace before the server crashed.
I upgraded the complete matched stack:
Torch 2.10.0+cu130
Triton-Windows 3.6.0.post26
SageAttention 2.2.0+cu130torch2.10
bitsandbytes 0.49.2
Comfy Kitchen 0.2.26
The fresh startup now confirms:
DynamicVRAM support detected and enabled
Comfy Kitchen CUDA backend: disabled: False
Native convrot_w4a4_linear and int8_linear available
LoRA Optimizer: Triton=True
SageAttention and bitsandbytes GPU kernel tests passed
ComfyUI is running at port 8189 with 22.72 GB initially free

I think yes, you can use a vid reference and tell it to change something, or use a reference image to replace the character from the original video

yeah

Thanks for the response bro. Do you have to patch sage attention using a node or do you just use the --use-sage-attention switch on startup?

For minimax image2prompt, if you use another model like Qwen3.5 to describe the image (takes +8 seconds on my PC with Qwen3.5-4B-Uncensored-HauhauCS-Aggressive-BF16.gguf), then feed that description into the prompt for the video, then you don't need to manually write a prompt for it.

This means you can run this it on a giant folder of images while you're sleeping, without needing to write anything.

She swing her axe while a first person view of another's person sword collide with her axe at extremely high speed with spark, then another person's armored hand goes into frame and punch her in the face with his fist and blood splatters from her nose, she gets knocked back, she fell over sideways onto the ground, blood on her nose, with purple bruise on her face she close her eyes and fall asleep.

not even close, the quality is Q8 like, because it's not regular int8, it's int8 convrot

>>
What resolution are you guys using? My first gen attempt at 0.4 took only 2.5 minutes to gen so I was surprised, but it was pretty melty. Using sage attention and eff mem patch thingy only for now.

Custom Lora from WaiIllustriousNSFW v1.2 or something, I forget.

>>109452202
i find the quality gets progressively better the higher resolution you go, i did a gen at 2 megapixels and it was amazing quality but took like 20 minutes on a 5090 for 5 seconds
>>
>>109452208
just look at the stars, it means that int8 convrot is the winner on all those metrics, it's in the same quality range as Q8 or even better sometimes

>>109451411
