C and python for humans.
Rust and python for AI.
Anybody have experience with using AI for C, I just feel like it would suck on any larger project.

AI is not good at rust, all models still tend to use unsafe to get around easy problems, as well as doing things that are safe in a roundabout way to avoid unsafety.

this, either they put unsafe everywhere, or they wrap everything into rcrefcell or arcmutex

Common LISP for practical purposes and actual projects. FORTH for when you need a dead simple compiler that you can implement yourself in a weekend. Tcl for scripts.
>>
>>109459340
Common lisp isn't a programming language it's just a hodge-podge of macros slapped together with bow tied around it. It's a fucking mess that can never be fixed or cleaned up thanks to the standard. Racket is the only lisp I've used where the api's seem consistent and where real effort have been made to make sure the language isn't a cluster fuck and everything is as predictable as possible. And yes before you start screeching about muh repl muh super special exceptions etc, yes we all know they are nice but the "language" itself is a fucking mess that is disgusting to use.

There's not such thing as "best" programming language. Languages are tools, you don't use a hammer to cut a piece of wood.

That's my favourite. I like the community vibe too, where it's cool to mix with other languages to get the job done well.
Most other languages make multilingual work a chore.

that's because to actually do anything in rust you have to use unsafe

cut out the middle man, the clanker can directly turn your ideas into "portable assembly" aka LLVM IR
