Pic unrelated which I used to have. But now it'd be the Octane2. I also have the matching Sony 22" non-widescreen monitor. Which like the FW900 or whatever, is unobtanium now.

Not OP that crt reminds me of the time some neighbor getting rid of stuff gave some old Emachine PC with a CRT. I think the CRT crapped out after a minute of turning it on.

I am still using a Mac Pro 5'1 with upgraded 3.0ghz Westmere CPUs and 96GB of DDR3 in the triple channel configuration. I also have a PCIe to NVMe card with a 2TB SSD with DRAM. GPU is an RX580. I am dual booting Zorin and macOS. It is a space heater so I mostly use my Mac Mini until winter comes.

I still have a SparcStation pizza box. Performance wise it's roughly a 486.

I built a Core i7 computer with 24GB Ram in 2010, it's still in my back room but the hard drives are too slow to make it work and I sold the GPUs, but it does boot.

>ard drives are too slow to make it work
a year ago I'd say just get a cheap sata ssd to put in it but yeah

I had R10k 250Mhz O2 and R12k 400Mhz Octane (plus other, older Silicon Graphics machines) back in ~2012.
Firefox was unusably slow on O2, it was tolerable on Octane.
I used Octane for daily driver and for some work.
I don't even want to know how nu-internet would run. Don't even know if anyone still maintains Irix ports either.
Unfortunately I had to get rid of my collection and I still hate myself for doing that but this is how life works, don't get too attached to material things.

An RS/6000 44P-170 with AIX 5.1. At least I think it works. It did when I put it in storage with all my furniture and crap almost three years ago. I have a nasty feeling a bunch of my electronics will not respond well to cooking in a storage unit as long as they have.

Depends on the site.

They do.

Your shitty post doesn't deserve a reply. I doubt you have ever even seen a irix machine in real life. Watching some youtube videos doesn't really count.
After Nekochan died, maintainers disappeared and while there is some form of SGI community around I doubt they have ported and compiled the latest Firefox.
Your vague "they do" doesn't mean anything but you are just yet another sub 90 iq retard who should not be even permitted to post on internet.

I have an Indy and an Octane2.

There's a new release, newish anyway.

I know, there's no 'latest Firefox.' That's fine. Most people keep these boxes around for specific software they like to use and as a hobby. It is possible to build your own browser, some people have gotten some Webkit browsers to work if you check the forum.

So I quit porn on May 7th. Since then, I haven't needed a "beefy computer". The real question is when you're going to give up porn.

Probably not beefy by today's standards, but I have a Lenovo P52 from 2018 which still runs like a champ. It's got a 6 core processor and the thing is built like a tank and still runs extremely fast. It's by far my favorite piece of tech that I've ever purchased.
