Wikipedia is starting to use Jimmy Wales' photo again in their regular "please donate to us we are all so poor" messaging again. This is after fellow cofounder Larry Sanger got banned recently and the Wiki Workers United dispute is still ongoing.I don't know what they aim to achieve, they are just going to make them appear more egotistical. Most of Wikipedia's content is done by people who do it for free and don't see a penny of Wiki's massive war chest. They don't mention either that they get paid lots of money by AI companies with Wikimedia Enterprise to have dedicated scraping servers.
