What would your 2012 self would have said if he got presented a view into the 2026 tech world?
>nah>there's no way
>>109462909probably "nigger" or "faggot," but I didn't really have many sophisticated opinions about technology in 2012.

>>109462909>Who is Uncle Ted?
>What would your 2012 self would have said if he got presented a view into the 2026 tech world?I would amazed at all the cool stuff we have now especially an LLM, this is the tool I was looking for back then because I realized back then google wasn't exactly the right tool for finding stuff. I would be as perplexed as I am now with the anti-ai low iq retard-ism. (I knew we will have a lot of it in the future just not when) The differences between me now and back then is I couldn't put it into words, now I still cannot put it into words but I am more likely to voice it instead of being silent.
>>109462909wait so they still havent released the new gta?
>>109465122>but the computers and shit are terrificin what way
>>109462909I would have finished my programming language and be running on my custom OS with my custom non-web web that I'd have been shilling on 4chan for a couple of years by now. Also I would be rich as fuck thanks to all the (((market volatility))) across the board this view would show me.If I wasn't working on that kind of things back then I would probably be despairing for a couple of weeks before figuring out a plan.
>>109465122Are you 12?
>>109467257>2012>has problems using googleAI psychosis truly only affects the profoundly retarded huh
>>109462909I would be shocked to discover that there will be time when IT graduates will work at McDonald's
>>109462909Nothing. I already knew how bad it would get.
>>109467827>>has problems using google>AI psychosis truly only affects the profoundly retarded huhWell, yes I am not verbally very strong, Google is a search engine and search engines are mostly just keyword search, the way you get answers is hope what you write in the search box matches with multiple websites, the problem with that is you also have to deal with SEO and ranking not only that you must know what to look for before you can look, if you don't know certain words especially at the age i was back then. How the fuck I am I supposed to find anything useful? Here is how you would do it back then (the bad old days) 1. Search all the first page websites take massive amount of time of your life trying to find what you look for. 2.Hope by correlation you will be able to find it. This sucks. Nowadays, you have LLMs and they understand (to a degree) your prompt and can nudge you to the right direction and be able to explain things in ways that are far easier to comprehend, the best way I learn is NOT trough endless text (i.e books and what ever), it's trough understanding the difference between it and rest of the information I know and how to put it in orbit. This is also why I was always attracted to YouTube (when I realized it wasn't a music website) so much more richer in total information (back then).LLMs don't replace google for me they add onto the toolchain.
