What was it like to buy an iPhone back when all that stuff was included in the box?
The earphones had good audio quality, but their and the charger's the sheats were made of a shitty "eco-friendly" wax-like material that was sensitive to heat and body oils to the point of becoming yellow, sticky and prone to breaking after months of use
>>109465927"wow i sure love getting a bunch of random garbage like an underpowered charger and low quality headphones"
>>109465927that's not the first iphone, as that came with a dock too
>>109465927>What was it like to buy an iPhone back when all that stuff was included in the box?It felt the same as when Samsung included all that stuff in the box.
>>109465927Oh boy! Another 5W charger!
not gonna lie i bought a 3g when new in 2008it was kinda magical at the time, hard to explainwe couldn't comprehend it was slop at the time but it was kino having the real internet in your pocket and time wasting games instead of shitty golf on your razr
I had this particular one in 2011 I think. The only iphone I've ever had, went to Android after that and never looked back. Boughted one of the first Samsung Galaxies, it was pretty good and had a great camera.
>>109471293Or maybe it was a different one, because mine hade a very wide charger socket.
iPhone cables from that era were hot garbage. They broke after a couple of months. That said, most aftermarket cables were garbage as well. It's actually kind of amazing what kind of high quality dropshipped cables you can buy on amazon for $8.I do not miss these inclusions. Most of the time they were too short anyway. An iphone back then was magical. My first one was the 4S that had siri, after being subjected to a horrible piece of shit HTC that couldn't even properly do calls half the time, it was amazing.Never went back to Androjeet even though I had like 4 androids before
>>109466106Were they different based on region? I’ve read this multiple times and even here in Binland heard people complain about the cables but i’ve never had any issues with any Apple cable. The cable that came with my iPad 2 is still in use, hasn’t yellowed and works fine.
>>109465927It was pretty cool, I was satisfied that I got earbuds to listen to music and a charger with an outlet adapter whenever I wanted to plug it directly to a wall rather than my PC.
Remember when every phone had a different, often proprietary, charger? Crazy when you think about that now.
