Basically only Canonical will back the 70k+ packages in main, restricted and universe repos by its paid programmers. The next best thing is Fedora with a hybrid way in which some Red Hat employees will work on it's 70k+ popular packages but not all of them and the fedora community also contributes, so it's a mix of the two for Fedora. Then OpenSuse also works in the same hybrid model as Fedora. The next best thing is Mint, Pop!_OS which because of their base on Ubuntu rely on the work there done by Ubuntu's developers and community for some of their packages. Everything else (Gentoo, Void, Alpine, Arch, Debian) is all community.
