So that's a problem. But adaptation works. I happily use pipewire and wayland without problems.

Nobody chooses powershell for scripting on windows except SysAdmins required to interact with the windows labyrinth. Expose is a trivial feature.WSL is OK I guess, but WSL2 is really just a lightweight virtual machine running linux. It's nice but not something I'd elevate to the level of "Wonderful."
