I was arguing in Reiser's favor and unhappy Linux has been taken over by corporates and Reisers code was removed. And it was removed because of what he did: when the hackers ran linux his code stayed in. Now Linux brags that not one line of hacker code exists in the Kernel anymore.

No hackers are allowed in Linux anymore.
I wanted RMS's take on that.

Also Reiser's file system worked till the very night it was deleted. It needed no "maintance". His code was that of steel: unbreakable.

Additionally "maitiance" was never the deal. During the hacker days if a Linux Kernel fuck ruined some other code: he had to fix it or his patch would not go in due to regression. The other people who contributed code were not demanded to fix previously working code they made when other shitheads broke it on them.

Linux was greatful for hacker code.
Now it bans all hacker code: and claims it never needed any of it.
(even though since 0.01 it was all hacker code until the Linux Foundation and Microsoft and IBM took over)
