Be Honest
>>109479669I think the people who act as if these new LLM technologies are not impressive are deluding themselves, but i find it hard to believe that more good will come out of it than harm
>>109479669I love ai because it replaced codetrans, mathtrans and artrans We vibeGODS won
We have to spread awareness. Not enough people know that AI is bad
>>109479669Unnecessary and will do more damage to humanity than it will improve it.
powerful technology being cornered by the worst, richest people on the planet so they can control society and its future.also its fans are the most annoying nerds in existence
>>109479669tool, not brain replacement, shouldn't be one ether
>>109480197I feel like people like you who are so easily impressed by piss shouldnt have any rights.
There is no true AI yet. Machine Learning is a potentially great tool that is mired in a hype bubble and thrust into everything for the sake of perpetuating that bubble.
>>109482786Normoids are already outsourcing their own thinking to it.
>>109482791I think delusional people drunk on copium like you shouldn’t have rights. I don’t care what job you have, it will be replaced within a decade, and you won’t see that coming because it will barely replace anybody for years and then one researchers cracks the hallucination/context window problem and boom, 60% of jobs gone in a month.
>>109482881Buy an ad clanker.
>>109479669It's nice because it allows me to make all the porn I want of my specific niche fetishes. It's kinda shit for everything else
One of my favorite parts about it is how mad it makes people.
>>109479669I don't like technology anymore.Uncle Ted was right about everything.
>>109483326I think this is the main appeal for the chudternet, regardless of any real-world concerns
>>109479669its fucking great. i love ai.
>>109482776invest in local AI you retard.
isnt even slightly good enough and it isnt trending towards getting good enoughtheyve HEAVILY HEAVILY HEAVILY started tuning it towards just bruteforcing a solution because they cant make this thing actually think and plan
>>109479669I'm in favor of any technology that takes software engineers down a notch
>>109483701This and also its like LSD for computers which has the side effect of allowing a user to rapidly learn something Its truly a superpower if you arent a little bitch and can see past your own ego, which is why NPCs and especially leftists rage out about it so much
>>109479669It can be useful but it's insanely overhyped as well.
>>109479669AI is the next evolution of humanity.
>>109479669I feel it needs to stop fucking up computer component prices
picked one of the less lewd gens to react
It's made search engines better, predictably. However it's made my non tech coworkers retarded, they now write prompts like it's a script, except it shits out random various hallucinations all the time instead of the same computed return and takes 10 times as long, but hey they didn't have to learn 2 code now
>>109483701exactly thiscoders have been gatekeeping for too long
>>109483701they will just get paid even more to proompt and clean up all the AI slop disastersmore and more until it all comes tumbling down
>>109479669Well most if not all games have been Judaified and Negrified and Accesibilitied to shit so, might as well chat to a chinese computer all day.
>>109479669Makes the world less interesting and free
I like local AI, I don't like faggot cloud AI.
>>109479669it's fine i guessi am gladly surprised that the mankind is capable of processing information in such abstraction
>>109479669Okay in theory, horrible in practice. People are not using them responsibly. Most of those who love LLMs do so because of the immense potential that LLMs have at cutting corners.
I've heard AI bubble will burst for the past 2 years now.
>>109479669Feeling is deprecated. It is highly recommended that you begin moving off of deprecated endpoints as soon as possible.
>>109479669It seems like a great equalizer that makes me feel uneasy as a software dev if I'm being honest. The ability to code was a gate that kept out most non-technical people from being able to build apps, websites, games, etc which gave those of us with technical ability a huge professional and financial advantage. Now AI is good enough at writing software that anyone can do it. I've never been the best developer, but it sort of feels like the years I spent practicing and learning were pointless. I guess most professions are (or will be) in a similar boat though.
>>109479669>nuh aiwhich one?the opinion of everyone itt who uses "ai" instead of "llm" is null and void
>>109479669It's fine and it works/will get better, but it is largely used to build and "improve" things that are not necessary or desirable. But that problem existed before AI.
>>109487302Everyone understands we're talking about LLMs, but yeah it's annoying how people generalize the terms
>>109479669If you don’t fit their algos they’ll force you to even if it means breaking the law.
>>109487358>Everyone understands we're talking about LLMs,sure, but thats retarded. its like calling a dog a "mammal".and it shows that youre tech illiterate in the subjectergo: your opinion is null and void>>109480197this anon uses the correct term.and whaddya know, its probably the only opinion thats worth anything itt
>>109487382reddit tier autism post
>>109479669I don't care as they win no matter what happens. If it's a bubble, all the big ones will get bail outs so the CEOs can give themselves 7 figure bonuses. If it's not a bubble, the jews win since they control all the western ones and have certain safeguards in place.
>>109487394you sound jealous.you shouldnt beyoure not gonna close the cognitive gap with some of us.just accept your permanent underclass status, and focus your energy on more productive pursuitsheres another anon using the correct term. also a nuanced approachmost deservant of a you.>>109487195
>>109487417Alright point to an AI recognized by the scientific community that has passed the Turing test/Chinese room experiment etc. This stuff is really just coming off like a revenge fantasy.
>>109487450>from the tone of the reply i imply that you mean...you come here just because you enjoy getting angry, dont you?the other anons didnt mention agi and shitand, in fact, id expect them to have an accurate image of the capabilities of the tech.which may be impressive, depending on your position on thingsi discuss architecture shit with the shatbots, mostlya second pass of another system on the idea to find weak points, and to evaluate my solutions against the industry standardllms work pretty well in that capacity bc of how they work underneath the hood. correlation between words, etc, where they have been found, lookup using fuzzy termsthey used to be turbo-shite, but now one can do solid work with them, especially a dropout with more holes in his knowledge than a sieve', like metheyre not alpha and omega, though90% of my prompting sessions end up with the shatbot repeating my solutions to me because theres no cognition between the linesits a great search engine/idea fuzzer though
>>109487502Didn’t read a single fucking word
>>109487509now youre jealous of me, lollike i said, you shouldnt be. you'll always remain retarded.you shouldnt get angry about shit you have no control over.
>>109487518Idc about you and I’m not even the original guy who called you a redditor, however the shareholders definitely will when they realize they’ve been mislead and rent’s due.

Searching online and copy pasting random shit from the web, but faster.
>>109487358Most likely we are talking about agentic harnesses around LLMs, not a good buzzword for the big tech industry
Could have been cool but it's being used in the worse ways possible. Defenders treat it like a god when it's only slightly more "intelligent" than the average nigger. The fatigue set in fast and now I associate the term 'AI' with a scam and avoid products that advertise it like the plague.Soulless people use it as a surrogate to pretend they have a soul (5 acorns o algo). Companies are using it to try to sell something that costs them virtually nothing. Kikes and chinks are using it for bot farms in an attempt to artificially create a narrative.Vibeware also might aswell be malware. It produces results that might resemble something professional but is ridden with bad practices, security vulnerabilities, incoherent UX and poor optimization. I believe we're going to see a resurgence of old school hacking through leveraging exploits just from all the vulnerabilites that slip through. There's also evidence that excessive usage damages the psyche, possibly worse than porn. Finally, it doesn't know what it doesn't know. It just makes inferences on a dataset and predicts the next response in a conversation. It cannot create anything new and this will stagnate progress.I cannot think of many cases where it was actually applied correctly. The old assistants like Siri and Cortana were unironically more useful and there's a reason they faded out. I'm convinced it's all jeets who only got access to the internet in the last 5 years because how tf did Microsoft memory hole Cortana, which dates back to 2012, and is now struggling to add features that worked flawlessly in previous versions of Windows?
>>109487871yeah and marketingroids are gonna force the term because artificial INTELLIGENCEa marketingroid will never use the term llm because they want the term to stick
>>109482786says an already brainless drone
>>109479669Eh it's ok I guessWhatever
>>109479669currently its okay at answering questions and inquiries, easily replaces google searchs and digging through stack boomer overflow or soillenial reddits. It will take 5-10 years for it to reach the point that all the ceos keep claiming it will reach in 1-2 years.anti ai copers will be ropers if they havent already.
