First for I love Windows!
8.1 > 7 > 10 > Vista > 11 > XP
i absolutely do not miss windows 7windows 10 ltsc is amazing
>>109482873I actually agree, I think 8 introduced a lot of small improvements and features that ultimately made 7 feel pretty old, all while keeping the same system requirements. The only W8's sins where the start menu and the mess they did with UWP apps, but if you were able to tolerate it 8.1 was pretty damn solid
>>1094830958 introduced dynamic ticks. Comparing Windows 7 to 8/8.1, they literally mog 7 in speed.
>>109482873>>1094830958.1 has telemetry baked at the kernel level, fuckoff you shills
>>109483290literal glowies said 7 was backdoored
Will there ever be a Distro that comes close to 10/11 LTSC?
>>109484439Nope
i used scoop in the past but i dont like that it depends on gitcan that cause any issue with other development environments or if i want to install git myself?
>>109484910A scoop-derived version of git wouldn't interact with a deep installed version of it.
