Your package manager can probably install a bunch of fonts. Try installing the Noto CJK fonts

Fonts go in either /usr/share/fonts or ~/.local/share/fonts on linux (for system wide or only user, respectively), C:\Windows\Fonts on windows, and either /Library/Fonts or ~/Library/Fonts on mac (again for system wide or user only).
