Are YOU ready to pay $1,000+ for 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSDs?
>>
>>109492843
No, I boughted a $400 computer last October because I am poor and have an IQ of 200
>>
>>109492852
>boughted
>>
This is ridiculous. Why aren't regulators doing anything to stop this?
>>
>>109493016
Like everybody else with a basic understanding of economics, they know this situation isn't sustainable
>>
>>109493016
Because the companies doing this have the full control of the situation.
You can't even kill em because if you kill em, there won't be any RAM being manufactured at all.
>>

>>109493016
regulators lol anon are you just realizing now how this shit works? Regulators are there to collect paychecks and let the big boys do what they need to. They regulate small goyim who are potentially able to fuck up the big ((())) plans. This is every industry have you seen what passes for food in america and what """""regulators""""" approve?
>>
>>109493115
Every single industry is getting fucked by this.
Every megacorporation needs to buy more computers, regularly, the chinks are squeezing from disney to yakuza to lockheed martin to boeing to nestle.
I'm pretty sure any of those would offer a billion dollars to a regulator just to make this shit go away.
But they can't because you cant stop the chinks.
>>
>>109493161
All I'm saying is it's legal to sell carcinogenic toxic sludge but if you wanna make a facebook group where you sell home made cheese or unpasteurized butter they will come shut you down. It's the same here, regulators do what the big boys tell them to, and right now some big boys are happy this is happening.
>>
>>109493187
I know, but i'm saying that even with that, this is not something they wish or desire.
It's literally micron (and TSMC) literally holding the entire world hostage.
>>
China and the AI bubble popping will save us.
>>
>>109493016
Regulators want to sanction China to protect the ram cartel.

everything will be shifted to the cloud. why stuff a phone with the latest SoC and 512gb storage when all you need is 1gb last gen RAM and 1gb storage to install webapps that stream everything from the cloud.

high end PCs main market isn't the 3rd world. a high end $2500 self built pc from last year costing $5000 next year will cut into sales and the Crenshaw types are happy to shell out that kind of cash as they think it's the American/capitalist way of doing business. then RAM and SSD prices go up even more, and your new high end PC costs $10,000. not many buy at the price so component manufacturers raise prices even more because of scarcity and to cover lost sales. pretty soon you're at $20,000 for a desktop. at that point you'll be buying nothing but a monitor and a terminal with a kernel, 1gb ram and 1gb storage for the OS to access your cloud apps.
>>
I'll be shocked if the market grift will make it to 2027 without crashing. We're replaying the end stage of the dot com bubble right now, but instead of burning millions of imaginary fiat tokens we call money, we're burning trillions.
>>
>>109493016
They already did. Its why whites are an minorty and AI is all the rage. The purpose was to make things more expensive. Fortunately, I think the housing bubble popped. If things keep getting expensive at 3x hyperinflation rates, people are going to stop buying things. Home pricing dropping is good but i believe its in response to no jobs and $1000 ram.
>>
>>109492843
Laws need to be put in place to prevent hoarding of critical server hardware. There are massive warehouses full of DDR5 that is just going to get liquidated when the AI market crashes.

Order your grains online from a wholesaler. Meat is a luxury, retard.
>>
>>109493016
Ok, so regulators set the prices, only allow retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers to charge as much as things cost five years ago. Now you buy 32GB and somebody offers you the current price for that RAM. What do you do? If you sell at the higher price, you've just recreated the current market again as all of it will have sold out at the lower price and only be available at the higher price. And if you're not one of the lucky few who was able to buy at the government set price, you're still paying the high resale price.
Even worse, what actually happens is all of the RAM gets bought up by China at the higher price because why would a manufacturer sell at the US mandated low price when other countries will pay the higher price?
>>
>>109503130
If someone offers you more than the regulated price you report them or you both are executed.

Joe Biden’s economy for the last two years has been such a plague on the world economic stage. Hopefully the Biden economy ends soon because the Trump economy is actually going to work and everyone is going to be saving a lot more money in the future. Prices across the country and then the world are going to drop.

>>
>>109509906
>cheap memory
No.
China is manufacturing memory and selling it at market prices because the demand is so high.
They're not undercutting the market because they don't have to and they can still sell their entire production.
Most importantly they're consuming a lot of their own stuff first and foremost, whatever is left they can sell out.
The market at the moment has an endless appetite for memory and it's only going to get worse next year.
>>
>>109509672
I have faith the market gods and their cyclical nature will provide. We are all going to be rich. And by rich i mean poor, but with lots of useless memory chips.

If China manages to get their own factories running it won't matter if Taiwan keeps their infrastructure away from Chinese hands.
