I'm sick of it. Everywhere I turn I see claude output.

>AI writing my software
yep, and that's a good thing

How is it any different from using a spellchecker?
>Oh no. The robot did the thing it was absolutely created for?
>>
>>109505084
a spellchecker has a much smaller scope. claude is just exhausting to read because it impacts the entire structure of the document and always comes out the same.
>>
>>109505119
That's a skill issue.
They're literally called LARGE LANGUAGE MODELS so they can be modified and changed at will.

If you want your emails to sound like Bugs Bunny or Spongebob, you can command it to.

I wish brother. My coworkers are such retards, our work items just have one liner description like "shit broke, fix shit". And then you come back and don't know why shit broke and how it got fixed
>>
>>109505169
even though you can steer it (which most people don't) the overarching structure still sounds the same. you're stuck in 2023
>>
>>109505062
lol what's with this 6 month old post?
No one is using AI at work any more since it costs too much and it's CHEAPER to hire more humans than buy some stupid tokens.
AI priced itself out of the market.

I hope you are a time traveler from the future anon

I'm 70% sure literally everything my company produces is just AI generated. Everything.

The emails, the schedules, the planning, the code, the QA, the devops sysadmin scripts, the business outreach and tender process, the cybersecurity audits, the customer support.

The entire fucking company including the CEO is just pretending to work. I wonder how common this is around the world in general now. I'm guessing most white collar work is like this.

What kind of a braindead comparison is this? Does the spellchecker changes all of people's styling and writing into one style? Does it add in random shit when it lacks the correct context like making up plausible explanations for acronyms or which party a verb refers to?
>it's not x -- it's y
>XYZR( Xshit Ythat Zdoesnt Exist) team has done ...

Thank you saar.

Only when merited though.
No one is impressed by a guy who digs a foundation with a spoon when he could’ve used an excavator.

It's frustrating because I WANT to actually work and do cool shit but noticing everyone else just uses Aai for 100% of their job including the CEO I can't bring the ability to care anymore. Can't find other SWE work either so I'm kind of forced and stuck with having to generate everything with AI and pretend to work like the rest of the company
>>
>>109505062

i miss when /g/ was about building rigs for gaming and blender instead of ai grifters and ai doomposters. i see this shit on /ic/ too
>>
>>109505948
>I WANT to actually work and do cool shit
work on cool shit on your laptop during work hours
just its gonna be your own projects then
theres tons of cool shit that can be done out there

its a bleesing in disguise
you can guarantee your existence and fuel your projects with little to no effort thanks to the dynamic in your company
>>
>>109505948
>work on cool shit on your laptop during work hours
just dont get caught doing it, obviously

>>anon, whatcha doing on your laptop?
>research/im testing a prototype/im testing an idea for xyz
in actuality youre programming your own shit but nobody needs to know
maybe keep some work related stuff opened in another desktop pane and swap if a coworker is near
