Does anyone have any technological suggestions to solving this problem?They wait at my front door, hundreds of them (I live next to a swamp)Then they hide behind closets and under tables and beds and come out at night.They are extremely loud. >>109510917I've been using these this season and its seemed to make a difference. They are supposed to be some kind of bacteria that eats bug larvae. I put them in buckets with leaves and water (just google it) and put them out in my yard. There are still mosquitos, but at least I can go outside for 5 minutes without being bitten 100 times now. It works way better than a bug zapper and won't give you ass cancer like bug spray. Its pretty cheap too.It says on the package you can just throw these in ponds too. Since you live near a swamp you may have to go the extra mile so I wouldn't use just any old poisons. They do make solutions for outdoor puddles, ponds, and possibly swamps when dealing with mosquitoes at their source.This is how lot of 3rd world and devolving countries deal with mosquitoes at their source because of how bad they are. Does anyone have experience with propane powered devices like this? They use an Octenol scent lure and a catalytic converter to burn the propane to generate CO2 and power a thermoelectric generator to operate a fan to suck in mosquitos. Yes it's expensive but I'm curious about the technology and it's effectiveness.

A few things1. Get net shields on ALL windows and doors2. Get a net tent over your bedIf you have both they shouldnr get in and even if they wont get to you in the bed, get an AC to reduce opening windows, but again if you actually secure them all with nets its done

Don't have the one in that pic but a few ones I bought that are similar, the LED dies pretty quick after a few months to a year so they just get dimmer and dimmer until then. Some like the ones I bought are also a piece of crap in bigger rooms say anything bigger than a 9x9 room, in burger measurements. The plugin bug zappers I bought only had 2 LED lights so maybe the one in that pic is better. With mine bugs will become more attracted to other light sources in your home before ever seeing those things. Like monitors, LED lights in or around your PC, alarm clocks, lights on power surges, power buttons, etc. things in that nature. Added to the fact that my wall outlets are very low to the ground and most bugs are flying in the airStill manages to catch gnats/fruit flies but you might as well go the extra mile and get something bigger like an indoor bug zapper.
