Look, everybody hates Rust...
... but python is a fucking slopscript written by a literal nocoder retard, It's terrible at everything; runtime, syntax, ecosystem, security, dependencies, you name it, everything sucks with this lingo.

I just don't like the syntax
I prefer C++ to Rust, even
Unfortunately, Go ha become my favourite programming language, and I'm probably stuck with it.

I always liked C++'s syntax but really hated the language itself because of retarded std with ZERO QOF features and header/source double work which is equality as retarded

>But python is a slopscript written by a literal non-programmer

This is true in lots of ways. It's used often by data scientists who have no desire for programming and just use it for data work. Long history of that.

I remember being a kid, very young, pic related was probably the first computer I remember using. It had the REPL on it and I would open it up and do math. I still do that sometimes with the terminal to this day, lol. I'll just open the REPL and do things like long division or multiplication.

The thing I like the most about C++ is the fact that it has a standard library that makes sense generally at least in GNU/Linux , I have never done Windows development and probably never will. It really surprises me that some people here still use Windows, about half the board does based on data I got when I ran an ad here a few weeks ago.
