>>109515137In 1963 motor oil was much closer to raw crude without any additives or synthetic polymers, it's pretty much just heavier cooking oil and bacteria will break it down long before it reaches the water table, it's the same concept for how they fix oil spills in the ocean, they use a dispersants to dillute the oil enough that bacteria can break it down which is why you never hear about tragic oil spills any more because we figured it out the solution and it's not to clean it up, it's to help nature run it's course
