I ditched plex for jellyfin earlier this year.
but the irony I shortly realized later is that the remote-access VPN I set up to reliably remote stream jellyfin actually would let me still use plex as I had been without having to pay for a lifetime pass.

where do you get all your wallpapers from? they seem to be from mostly the same artist
>>
>>109523236
the art is mostly sourced from e621 and pixiv, and backgrounds are usually found from Google Images (or self-made if they're more abstract/simple backgrounds). I have my collection available on Dropbox:
https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/2408bo4b1i5hwg3rjoxbo/AFiOXft2VtGBCmggFWJeJyw?rlkey=nrl27qn2wyg8b8xv9qntgxtvk&st=lz7tz4bi&dl=0
The character art for this one in particular comes from the webcomic Twokinds by Tom Fischbach, and I do indeed have a decent amount of those.

Dude should invest in silicone wheels for the chair at the very least, or one of those plastic mats for office chairs.
Otherwise the tiles will get scratched up permanently in no time.
The legs of the desks also look like they'll interfere with the movement of the base of the chair which is going to be annoying.

I bought it used, but long before the CRT craze, I paid a negligible amount for it. These are good screens but people tend to dislike the anti glare coating if they are used in a dark space and also it has a circle grille, not the rectangles you see in Trinitrons/Diamondtrons.

>>
>>109526876
Yeah, there's plenty, but you're not going to do anything to improve it, you're going to continue wallowing in your own filth and third world squalor.
>wipe the cum off your screens
>cable management
>clean and/or paint your walls
>consoles not hooked up to the monitor -> get a media console or something and put them there instead, reclaim desk space
>remove router from the wall, hide in better place, or replace yellow cable with longer white one so it isn't strained like that
>move ikea pegboard down or put somewhere else
>find a better place to store the Xbox games
>throw away the chinkshit rubber band racing wheel and replace with proper FFB wheel instead
>charge your phone on a cable somewhere else, you have enough screens to watch
>for the biggest upgrade, toss the le epic reddit beginner ikea desk and replace it with something better (IDASEN or similar)
>>
>>109526876
>>109527124
Also use a desktop background that isn't pure black. You don't have an OLED. Stating at LCD backlight bleed all day would drive me fucking nuts.

>clean out drawers since they are filled with trash
>sell one of the sets of drawers and replace them with table legs to create more leg room
>there is no reason why you would need more than two screens. I would sell the tiny vertical and get a nice dock/stand for the mac book
>put the wheel in closet when not in use
>put the games in the closet as well
>trash the phone stand
>if you really want to go the extra mile replace your entire desk. the soild white ikea stuff looks extremely ugly and cheap i would replace it with something that at least has a nice woodgrain texture
>replace the corrin amiibo with the robin amiibo because awakening is better than fates

I just had a thought, water is thermally more resistant than air by a factor of like, 3500%. So if your pc components were in proximity to a large body of water (a sealed jug) then that would act as a radiant "heatsink" trying to maintain relative ambient temps.
I posit that a PC case where air gaps that aren't essential to air flow had sealed containers of water that over a normal operating time (12 hours a day) you'd have statistically lower temps as the components generating heat try to reach equilibrium with the water. It would probably be more efficient if the containers were metal.
Then at night time the "heatsink" once again becomes "charged" by cool night air convection.

I already know if you theoretically filled a lot of empty space within a house with containers of water (cupboards, empty rooms etc, to the tune of 1,000's of litres) it would maintain a more even steady state over time through the same principles.

This isn't a cassette tape, disposable camera and vhs twitter trend situation- which are always shittier than cds or digital. Crts are significantly superior to LCDs in that one niche category of motion along with several drawbacks.

I upgraded to a single 2560x1440 so i could have comfortably have 3 OSRS clients stacked on the right side with no overlapping, whilst having a browser on the left. In this specific use-case you want the clients physically as close as possible to minimize bad clicks when playing all 3.
After quitting OSRS (because they're making the exact same problem that made them have to rollback 5-6 years of progress initially) i wish i had 3 monitors.
Now i'm just accustomed to alt-tabbing and quadrants.

VHS and CRT TVs are a completely different thing from monitors.
CRT TVs are useless apart from Retro game consoles, CRT Monitors are high resolution high refresh rate and are viable as a main monitor even today
CRT TV is a model T compared to a 21" monitor being a new hellcat

I know, i was one of the 4 people who use to regularly post in your crt threads
but in the last year specifically, there is a new "ISO crt tv/vhs" every 1-2 days, sometimes 20 at the same time. It's so strange and i've been trying to figure out the origin of it, its literally all women too. I mean least where i am 17" crt monitors take a few days to sell @ $80, but some dog shit magnavox/misakai/sansui crt vhstv sells @ $200-300 immediately
also side note, it's been over 3 years now and i still havn't found a crt monitor better than my aoc 9klr, in that entire time i've had the chance to buy about 7 aperture grills, one i bought and all others were above $500, world is gay lately

also here is a photo i stole from here because i liked it a lot

It's not that strong. Wet cannabis has a heavier stink, dry bud is way more subtle. One of my carbon filters is about done, and during flowering I could really smell it, but now that they have dried in the tent for a few days, the odor is weak, the filter manages to filter most of it away. With dry bud, you get used to the smell if you're in the same space, but if the plant is alive that odor starts to annoy you.

Is that still going? Does the artist still insist he's not a furry and he'd never heard of them until after he already started his comics?
I haven't seen that in like 18 years. Did they ever learn to properly use that magic and become power overwhelming? I got sick of it having that classic plotline of the MC being secretly super powerful but never actually learning to use it.
