I use proton vpn because it's free and have unlimited bandwidth. Though I do miss the ability to select servers, that they removed that was a major letdown. I won't be surprised if they remove the unlimited bandwidth as well in the near future. Then windscribe is the better free vpn.

AirVPN works with port-forwarding and allow for bittorrent traffic. Also you can use both OVPN and Wireguard. You can also pay in Monero and don't need an email or any other personal data to register. That being said, it's good for torrenting and such, but for things where you value your privacy you should add Tor to avoid giving the VPN too much trust (which applies to all VPNs, including Mullvad).
