never buy these
usually the point of failure is where the cable gets pinched by the body

picrel is what you want
that little bit of added plastic solves the problem by distributing the stress exerted on the cable on a bigger length

The GTX 1080 was good for a whole decade too. And the late 2010s was a time period where we had a lot of the same conveniences we still do now but without the slop and bloat. Like most people still ran Windows 7 but we also had fully featured smart phones with a headphone jack and SD card tray.

Picrel is cheap, but I bought it because it's short so it can be close enough to my wrist support.

I have this exact mouse came with Lenovo ThinkStation company bought us. It's an absolute shit: poor sensor, not ergonomic at all, pads are already dead. I'm surprised they put such low quality crap with a $10000 workstations. Keyboard that comes with it is also trash. Cheap logitech keyboards and mice are miles ahead.

I fingered the G-Hub on every G502 version, they really need to invent a better side rubber or smth.

Yeah nah. I'll keep a real mouse.

You not what a true mouse is.
>>

The oriignal dell OEM mouse were the most solid I ever had. I mean they'd last like 15 years of regular use when some 100$ meme gaming mouse is double clicking in 8 months. Such a fucking scam, I bought amouse with replaceable switches because of this garbage and I guarantee the scroll wheel will still be shot in 10 months.

>>109535141
i use a g502x and the mousepad keeps it permanently charged, no need to worry about cumbersome wires or recharges

this, but it varies, i have logitech m90 with skinny tail and i don't even remember how long it is on my desk - probably ~7 years (?) but i've had m90 which failed after 1-3 years - some with cable, some with misfiring switches

I need to replace my Razer DA v2 pro to Zowie EC2-DW cause I don't need fucken RGB for lowIQ ni/g/gers which act as keyboard for scripts.

I surprised that no malware targeting using stupid gayming mouse input to act via evilUSB\AutoHotInterception

My Rival 600 has started not working properly(holding LMB or pressing RMB is iffy even after cleaning mouse from inside) and I am wondering what mouse should I get as a replacement or if I should just get the same one

I've started using pic related again at home and at work. Yes it's a ball mouse. It's basically indestructible, does not wear off, does not double click, does not miss inputs (if you keep the rollers clean, which is easy). The curve has never been replicated exactly like this again. The left side fits my thumb perfectly. The only downside is the lack of back and forward navigation buttons.

I'm annoyed they've discontinued this fuckin thing because it's the most comfortable mouse I've ever had my hand on, but at least it meant I got to stock up on them for 15 bucks a pop.

Had to replace all the switches, scroll encoder, re-adhesive the battery, and replace the feet several times, after just a couple years of use.
It's true and cruel that shitty $10 office mice do outlast $100 gaming mice.
At least the sensor seems to last unlike in my Zowie ZA12's that started to fail after 3 years. No fixing that.

>>109540396
I've had O and O- and I had to replace the wire of both. The ZA12 also had to have its wire fixed. I am never buying wired mice again.

I've never had a mouse that I've not had to repair
