are full-sized SD cards still useful for anything (compared to USB drives) if i'm not a photographer? my 2021 lelnovo laptop has a slot for one, it's appealing to me since USB 3.0 flash drives fuck up my 2.4ghz peripherals.

>>109537347I actually keep a bunch of micro-sd and regular sd cards in stock. I plug the micro's into my phone and the regular sd I use as storage and drives on my desktops and laptops. I still have old tiny ass usb with 256 megs of storage I keep in rotation to store specific things like txt and various small things. problem is too many people have this odd minus old stuff = useless. pssh my friends and I have a private irc network and telnet bbs we run on top of using old stuff often in modern ways. get some sd cards and find a use. most are too damn cheap to not have a tiny stash of them and micro's. I usually hit up new egg and a few other places. even those $5 ones that still show up are decent.
