Is installing a firewall enough to stop the spying?
>>109537360I thought Apple recently banned trackers from Safari.
>>109537360Blocking tracking at point of source is ancient methodology that is a waste of system resources. What you need to do is undermine the utility of that tracking, as in wreck your online identity database file where these data are being sent. Step 1 to that is to not install any apps made by Google or Meta onto your phone. That alone will render your "identity" useless for advertising purposes.
>>109537360No, it is not.
>>109537399Yes, but that's not tracker, that's safari communicating with apple servers.>>109537360You need to disable SIP, and vibe-code software to block any connection to apple servers, it's mostly enough, but regardless all modern motherboards/cpus have secrity platform for glowniggers to get in. (this doesn't affect 99.99% of people)
>>109537360>Is installing a firewall enough to stop the spying?Depends on the details and information you can find online, but if you want to be 100% sure, I would get a network firewall if I were you.
