I never really experienced any gains from an LSP. Syntax highlight isn't significantly better than standard regex-based highlighted unless you enjoy angry fruit salad. And I never really needed autocomplete for stdlib and other libs, I only use autocomplete for my own code which YouCompleteMe delivers. I don't see much value in LSP, especially now with LLM that can literally tell you anything and write code fo you.
