How does the tram know when to turn so it doesn't fall off rails?
>>109547985Why are you posting spam
>>109548045trams are technology
>>109548153ur moms tits are technologypost your moms tits now
no, he's got a point thoug
the rails guide the wheels
the driver turns the wheel
>>109548179Nah, I bet there's a little guy sitting in tram and controlling it quietly
>>109547985It doesn't, but it has something to do with gravity and friction and it understand these things on a basic level.

>>109548235thats actually insanely eleganti feel i want to have one exemplary of that in my living roomalso to make people wonder to themselves wtf did i mean by having a tram axle on display
>>109548235but then how does it turn the other way?
>>109547985Cone shaped metal wheels.
>>109548294
>>109548235what if it drives slowly so it doesn't have centrifugal force?
>>109548280Honestly, not sure what an axle alone would cost, but an entire 1930's era truck assembly cost ~$140,000 to restore to good/operational condition last year.
>>109548314ok but how does it go the other way now
>>109548366
>>109548401that's straya mode i think
>>109548401beat me to it>>109548357>140k for restoration alonethen its something ill think of when i get to the billienot that its realistic, but because ill keep trying until i die
>>109548336There is always centrifugal force acting on the wheels even when the tram or train is going slow, however at slow speeds it can be ignored, even with little centrifugal force the wheel will adjust their position on the tracks.

>>109548179Fucking come off it with these ridiculous conspiracy theories
>>109548235normies think trains just brutally grind along rails, but in reality they just elegantly glide on a very small contact patch like this
>>109548153Trams, more like trans. You will never be a real train.
>>109549438the trams near me screech on a corner so yes that is what they do. brutally grind.
>>109547985It knows where to turn because it knows where it doesn't
>>109547985It just slides along the track curve. There's always some attrition, that's why they get extra noisy when turning. >>109550255>>109548203The big wheel on the right is the parking/emergency brake crank, there is no steering. To switch tracks the driver has to get out and manually switch them. The lever on the left is power, and if I recall correctly it's a dead-man's switch so the tram should stop if the driver is incapacitated. There should also be an air brake control because good luck cranking that wheel in an actual emergency.
>>109549792>how do i make this about trannies
>>109549438This mindboggles the normalfag
>>109547985With AI of course. Without AI none of this would be possible.
