i applied on a whim using my .edu email for college, took about a day but they accepted it.no idea what the hell i can do with this, it's a fever dream of an OS at every level. other than setting up X11 to run CDE later, there are no goals in mind.

Dead OS, the only reason they have this license is they're hoping some autist learns about VMS and they can hire 'em to service ancient contracts for forgotten computer systems which are somehow still budgeted.VMS is the bad ending.
>>109558653I remember having some build tools at my previous job that only ran on a specific version of openvms. Maybe you have a future being a sysadmin for the DoD for when people inevitably need to update 30+ year old software maintained by one guy two years away from retirement.
