What was the strangest/most nonsensical solution to a problem that actually worked?
For me it was:
>have PC hooked up to 36" TV instead of monitor
>crank font size up so it's readable
>play deus ex: invisible war
>getting weird glitch where mouse won't move in menus (can aim during gameplay just fine)
>google it
>top result says to turn font size down
>try it
>it works

strange fixes usually either involve me going "whole hog" in some way, or the problem fixing itself for no reason whatsoever
