Why on earth would you present your products like this?
imagine traveling back in time and asking a 1999 man what's on that pic
Because Apple has gone so far up their ass with minimalism their products look like a complete bore, all smooth and rounded surfaces, no reliefs, no character, no style. Just large empty areas meant to give you a soothing feeling of perfection. So if you look at the product's faces, you see nothing. Now when they present that bland product everyone already recognises because they've seen it being the same for decades, they have to add something that pops, some big patterns, colors, contrast so that it arrests your attentionOtherwise normies will get Apple fatigue and look elsewhere
>>109569866The marketing department knows that Mac users love black penises. The product is called the Mac Pro, so they asked their designers to come up with an ad campaign featuring abstract black penises spelling out the word PRO.It's that simple really.
>>109570081>freetard thinks about black penises 24/7pottery
>>109569866>display says "PRO"I don't see what's wrong here?
>>109569866because the wallpaper is the only way to differentiate them without looking at the specsthey are all the samebuy the 2021 one you dont need anything more
>>109570081>>109570153Lol I knew they were black cocks, I never realized it said Pro
>>109569866Apple has been using pitch black wallpapers for a long time in their promo pictures to hide the notch. They need to convince people that it's barely visible since even Apple knows that it's an abomination, but doubling down is cheaper than creating a decent product.
>>109569866linuxjeets and wingoys are now seething about wallpaper
>>109569944not-apple computers are also using a minimalist design.
>>109569866why notshows it's thin,rounded , has thin bazels

This one says "air"
>>109569944non insulting safe design is cool for material but boring for interfaceI like Apple Macbooks because they dont heat up. I can be on my mac all day, in 34 degree weather, and it will not heat up, has no fans, will not throttle either, and batt will last as much as I need it to.No windows pc can do it. NONE.Its not even a competition. I tried few years ago and regretted until it came time to go back to Mac with M chips.Never looked back. Plus windows are spyware. And Linux is hard to maintain/get working for most people.I like Linux, but more as a hobby. Would not use it as daily driver. Plus, time is money. As adult outside of IT, I have no desire to invest my life into setting up volume keys and brightness keys to work every time I boot in linux.Fuck all of that.90% of ppl need uninsulting design that works. Thats a macbook.Lets not forget when you open the lid the machien is ready to go. No stuters, nothing but pure "IM HERE MYLORD" every.single.time.And they arent even that expensive. At this point, you gotta be delusional or intelectually impaired to choose anything but Macbook.
>>109572556>delusional or intelectually impaireddevoted freetards: why not both?
>>109572556I agree. Meanwhile, I'm going to have to use a laptop with fucking Ubuntu for work. FML.
>>109569866What, the wallpaper? All computer ads do that. Even across different manufacturers, windows computers show one of the official variations of the windows11 squiggle. The only alternative is the company logo, and apple doesn't need to put that on the screen.
>>109569866to hide the n*tch
>>109570081iFAGGOTS BTFO
>>109572556This too. I'd love to have a real alternative, but there simply isn't one. There was a time when windows was competitive, but it isn't now. And linux is the domain of the unemployed.
>>109570153I read it as "FU".
>>109569866It hides the stupid empty notch, why wouldn't they show it like that, it's false advertising by omission.
>>109574220That's a very ugly wallpaper, though. Compare to an ad from 20 years ago.
