This is the worst AI will ever be.

In a few years, AI films will be so realistic that no one will able to tell the difference.

A challenge that currently faces AI movie enthusiasts will be changing public opinion to become favorable toward AI-generated media. As it stands now, any AI-generated movie will likely be labeled "slop" and may have trouble attracting audiences in a climate where many people prefer human-made content.

AI didn't change anything about the 90/10 rule.

no, my original issue was that sloppers never manually quality control anything. And then (like you're doing now), get really upset when you point out flaws and demand you stop seeing them.

At this point, for text, you're right. Some models are extremely good.

But there still is a choice. You can still read paper books, paper magazines, and you can still read textual content online that existed prior to 2020 (if you care about "ai generated content" that much).

So, if you want to go to the archives, and stay in libraries and historical data, then sure. You can do that. But I'm not going to do that. I'm not going to obsessively care whether or not something is AI generated or not. I'm not going to let it take away from my enjoyment of things. I reject your no-choice framing. But I do like AI as a technology.

Anon, it's not hard to understand. People don't like a dead internet filled with fakers or bots.

Even for a simple subject like WW2 history, 50% of the search results on youtube come up with ai slop. You search for actual quotes in the documentary, nothing actually comes up. Not OP but he's right. People aren't just prompting single clips they're using custom workflows to stich together multiple tools to make it more believable and cohesive. They use one tool for reference images, another for lip syncing, another for stitching together scenes, etch.

Look up Gossip Goblin he actually just got a deal to produce a whole movie. He hires voice actors and sound fx people and uses workflows like I explained for the finished product.

I thought ai was slop a few months ago and it's insane the progression its gone through. My real fear is they're gonna be able to make runningman style fake footage and frame/blackmail people.

It doesn’t utilize a lot of aspects of what makes things like pirates of the carabean good and more in the vein of a shitty marvel movie. Yeah it looks ok but there’s really nothing there. You’re not adding onto anything because it stuff that has already existed based on IPs that you desperately want to take whenever the opportunity is available. I’ve said it in >>109592144 (me) but wanting a near infinite amount of “movies” or “TV shows” isn’t a good idea because of all the material before it will thin out with overuse and will either get stale and boring or become a complete jumbled mess because of the data being only AI slop.

You’re not making art, you’re just making content and algorithm likes to push.

>Hollywood is Doomed
This is my theory for a few years now. Here's what's gonna happen
>Timeline: 5 to 10 years from now
>AI will enable you to create your own movies, mini series, complete tv shows with prompts.
>human celebs will just sell their AI data, look, voice etc and still make decent $$$
>You'll finally be able to turn your favorite novel into a movie, re-write parts of a show you didn't like, see sequels or prequels that you would love.
>No good movie script will ever die in development hell
>We will see the rise of Yotube- or Netflix-like platforms but for AI stuff.
>Absolute nobodies who'd never get a chance in Hollywood will be able to make their stuff and possibly fascinate millions
>The movie and tv-show world will become democratic. No Hollywood producers that say no to a script. No financers limiting the amount of $$$ a director can spend. No assholes cutting a good movie to shit because it doesn't fit the mass market.

And the best thing is: It's all Hollywood's own fault. They spent the better part of this Millennium with boring-ass superhero shit, uncreative sequels, prequels. They streamlined EVERYTHING to a point where no creative idea has the slightest chance.
And AI ass-rape them with the biggest horse dildo you've ever seen. And I, who has lived through the so wonderfully creative and cineastically liberal 90s, will laugh my butt off while I'm prompting my movies.
>>
>>109594144
Just imagine a young Tarantino would knock the doors of a modern Hollywood studio. I guarantee you: NOBODY, NOOOBOOODYY would touch his script for Reservoir Dogs even with a pair of pliers
>Naaaah, too brutal
>Naaaaah, people won't understand it
>Naaaah, it's mostly set in only two locations; how boring is that?

Tarantino is only able to make movies because 90s Hollywood was very open for unconventional ideas which gave him his name.

Wanna make film? ew, just prommmmmmmpt
People are plenty happy doing things 'the old fashioned way'

It's like a gambling addict who can't stop themselves from pulling the AI slot machine until they get the jackpot/output they want

lots of cope here, AI movies will be same case as every other field touched by gen ai - endless slop of indian content farms, every good idea will be burried under petabytes of next get rich quick scheme, no one will care about ur "good screenplay" because screenplay will be ai generated too
>rise of Yotube- or Netflix-like platforms but for AI stuff.
kek, as we seen with ai text, ai pics or music no one is paying for that shit unless they were scamed that thing they bought is real. Thats why ai bros are so aganist ai tags or copyright law

this will always remain my favourite AI video
The problem right now is just that the type of people who are interested in making AI art are not the people with any kind of artistic sensibility. It's like if crypto bros all started to make movies, they just have no taste. We're at the stage where AI is mostly used by people who don't have real intelligence in whatever domain and now finally feel they can partake at the level they think they should. Probably eventually some new sensibility will emerge, someone with an actual clue about art or story will make something actually good, but not right now.

I expect it will also be expensive, especially with the switch to pay-per-token most services are doing now.
Buffet AI is dying.

Can't forget an Indian or SEA will steal your idea, remake it enough to be legally distinct, and then make more money out of it than you because they are better at SEO and have 5000 more videos choking up services.

AI will take over development for video games, movies and music, to think that it won't is ignoring the economic factors of reality, nobody in their right mind would spend millions to develop either of those things when there is an option to just make them for free. Quality problems are a matter of unwillingness to fix and adjust the results, this is a problem for ADHD brain-addled retards, but it's not a problem for professionals.

The actual problems will be trying to filter out the numerous uncreative people who make dogshit from the small subset of creative ones who would make good stuff from an ocean of sewage. As an example, imagine "someone" recreates Game of Thrones, but cuts everything after season 4 and instead creates their own seasons that have the writing quality of the first four seasons. This "someone" would have to be a lorefag and on top of that actually know what good writing is, because they would have to be competent enough to verify that the AI hasn't produced worthless plot-incoherent garbage. This also applies the same to new works/series, because how good a work would be will be limited by the creativity and meticulousness of the author, and most people aren't that no matter how much AI would help them.

Where are all those great video games and movies that were made for free?

The Star Wars one with Vader vs Mace Windu is kino, but I cannot tell the different between shitty CGI and AI.
