Well, I started browsing /g/ when I was 13, and I learned about data privacy, why it is important, and so on. I learned about people like Edward Snowden, Richard Stallman, Dennis Richie, Ian Murdock, and so on. So I was concerned with privacy. I have plenty of friends. In high school, I didn't have a lot of friends, I guess. But I did have a few friends in HS, one was named Javante, another was named Dalia. I also read Yotsuba&! the manga, which was in my school's library.

Japanese phones using android STILL don't have it outside I think specific sony models(?). They are also seen as what americans buy, the second hand market is insane here too. A iphone SE 22 model costs like 7500 yen with a +85% battery B grade which usually looks (almost) brand new. Some bank apps only want the latest or 2-3 versions behind to allow use, I think it's because all that weird BS thing where they tried to weed out yakuza from owning phones but not sure.The bloatware is a problem the proprietary messaging apps some phones ship with make me wanna blow my brains out.Taiwan, SK, HK, also have specific NFC setups for travel cards. So if you bounce around for work, it's better to just have an iphone
