When the AI bubble pops and full costs have to be passed to consumers, how much will my $20-30 ChatGPT subscription cost?
the same, maybe 10$ more, but it'll be a much worse model and have ads and collect data for said ads. the good models will be for big customers only of which there wont be many
>>109594883I mean, how much to still have access to Sol
6 gorillion koshers
>>109594869i think the true cost of these subscriptions is probably around $300-500
I think they admitted it was only about 5-10% of the true cost so yeah around 500-1000 a month. Cloud provider rug and pull jewish trick. Can't believe everyones falling for the same scam again.
>>109598026So only chads will have access to agentic AI in the future while peasants have to settle for Gemini flash?
Ordinary people aren't going to pay for Ai directly, it will become ad-based and sell your chat data
everyone ITT is wrong. Subscriptions are profitable. Low usage users subsidize heavy use users. Nothing is going to change.
>>109594869It will never pop. AGI is guaranteed to arrive in the next 2 to 5 years and that's when AI companies will completely own everything.
>>109602477You mean when they arbitrarily declare it as a marketing move, which will then flop once some autistic 15 year-old cracks the system prompt.
>>109594869The same. ROI Earnings are projected to come in over thousand of years, the current generation of planners/ CEOs doesn't make money from the consumer base, but from state contracts/ co investing in other AI companies. The consumer doesn't really buy into any subscriptions for the past few years.
>>109604962> The consumer doesn't really buy into any subscriptions for the past few years.Any NEW subscriptions*
>>109594869the same but with 1/20th the current use limit and models 3 revisions behind the latest (my dad is john ai)
>>109594937I'm not gonna keep track of usage limit fuckery, but I can look at API costs. GPT4 used to cost $30 in $60 out, GPT 5.4 Pro and 5.5 pro used to cost $30 in $180 out (in fact that's still the list cost if you're dumb enough to use them)Luna which mogs all of them is now $0.2 in $1.2 out, Sol is $5 in /$30 out (and 50% off on some sites)So let's say they triple the prices, Sol would still be half the price of 5.4/5.5 pro
>>109602477Cool story, Sam
