you DO exclusively use the GPL (GPL-3.0-only) license on all your projects... right anon?
I dont publish anything anymore. Not training LLMs for free thank you verymuch.
>>109595143I respect the sentiment, but its not like they NEED your code anyways anon lol, I post things when they are useful or may be useful to others.
>>109595190They need my code more than ever now since they ran out of training material. What are they going to train their future models on? The same slop they produced? I certainly hope so.
>>109595266Fair point, but seems to me they are producing novel things now, but, cant blame you for not helping jews. maybe your repo will be worth lots of money in a few years if you keep it offline with novel and new ideas lol
>>109595282What novel things have they produced?
>>109595135AGPL-3.0-or-later or GTFO
>>109595864Closes the SaaS loophole. Very good license.
>>109595135i never put a license on my projects. I mainly have them on git(insert brand here) for my own backup purpose
>>109595289you are confusing two different thingstraining on piles of unfiltered AI slop can and will make a model worse. but if code can be compiled, tested and benchmarked. the model throws out candidates, reality tells you which ones actually work, and you train on the winners, period, doesnt really matter where it came from. Googles alphadev thing found NEW sorting routines that beat the human versions and got merged into LLVM. FunSearch beat the best known results on open math problems by generating programs. and alphaevolve wrote optimizations that goygle actually ended deploying, including one that apperently makes Gemini kernel 23% faster and cut training time by 1%so no, the model isnt creating information from nothing. the tests and benchmarks are where the new information enters the loop. but "AI has never produced novel code worth learning from" is just factually wrongAs long as the code compiles, is effecient, and isnt doing microslop tier nonexsistant optimisations and making a function that should be 5 lines 50 lines, it is useful for training LLMs on. Your code is really and truly not needed.
>>109595135No. I use AGPL-3.0-only+NIGGER
>>109595980AGPL is untested in court and the way it describes interacting with SaaS is awkward to the point where I wouldn't be surprised if a judge decided in ways to force an AGPL-4.
