Is Air Travel finally going to experience another revolution, seems like things are taking off. I for one think it B.S a trip to Japan takes 13 hours, hopefully it can be a 2-3 hour trip now.
What happens if these things hit a goose?
>>109596999No, not until energy gets cheaper by at least an order of magnitude and it's slowly become more expensive the last few decades and the EROI has become lower and lower, sadly renewables are only going to make that worse.
>RT footage of China mogging a has been space powerIronic.
>>109597040goose will be kil i suppose
>>109596999yes. 15 years from now air travel will be good.
>>109597040it would be extremely painful
Not until they make antigrav tech public.
>>109596999This is not eco-friendly.
>>109596999you remember how we stopped using the concorde because it was loud, unsafe, and expensive to operate? rockets magnify each of those by a hundred.
>>109598830cool it with the antisemitism
>>109596999there won't be any accessible supersonic flights during your lifetime, forget about rockets. they are only good to launch shit to the orbit (because there are no alternatives)>inb4 what about concordeit was more of a technological showcase than a real airplane. it was expensive as fuck even considering way lower oil prices. it couldn't exist nowadays
>>109598830This
>>109596999Rich people can already go for a joyride in a rocket and become "astronauts" who cares.I want us to go back to airships. Material science has advanced so much since then that we could make wonderful, safe airships. Imagine taking a leisurely flight in one of those across Europe, get up walk around look and actually enjoy the sights.
>>109596999>hopefully it can be a 2-3 hour trip nowmaybe, but the way things are going like 0.01% people in the world would be able to afford to travel
>>109596999>Is Air Travel finally going to experience another revolutionWith chemical rockets?HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>>109596999You want a revolution?Only if they finally let us have the top secret antigravity tech.
>>109597040Rocket engines aren't like jet engines, it wouldn't be sucked it, just roasted and yeeted
