I think the only good Windowses were Windows 3.11 for Workgroups, and Windows 2000.

From someone who has only used Macs or Linux since 1990 but obviously had to use Windows at school/work etc.

The only good Windows were 98SE and 2000. Everything else was inferior to the alternatives.

I hated Windows 98, there were bsods every now and then for no reason. WinMe was way more stable despite its bad reputation. Still 2000 was the best, XP was just a worse 2000. 7 is fine after you fixed the dozen of stupid default settings.
