Germany requires your fingerprint on new IDs. I've been able to dodge a new ID for years but I need a new one. What's the most reliable way to destroy the RFID chip? KI recommended putting it in the freezer or using a magnet but mentioned that both methods may not work, especially if you don't own a NASA freezer or a high-tech magnet.
>>
>>109598085
do you have a passport nigger? those require fingeprints too
>>
>>109598085
>the issue isn't that the state has a copy of your fingerprints the issue is that it's on this plastic card
If anyone is left wondering why Germany is declining its this mentality and prioritization.
We killed our best in WW1, our second best in WW2, the third best left in the 80s and 90s and whatever remains really speaks for itself.
>>
>>109598085
what part of destroying the RFID chip would save you from registering your fingerprints with the government? it's still on their database, despite your cards RFID working or not.
>>
>>109598085
>high-tech magnet
Can't you just pull one out of an old/dead HDD?
Or are they not strong enough for what you want?

Retarded schizo he doesn't know that they've already obtained his fingerprints, his birthmarks, and every possible recordable data from the moment he was born until the last time he appeared in front of a camera. Go ahead and fake your death if you want privacy, or just fucking kill yourself, they won't follow you there
>>
>>109598085
fingerprints is the easiest thing to evade
fukken wood glue goes onto hand
then you sandpaper it down to smoothness

thats what south african gangs do
fuck gloves, thats for rich pipo
>>
>>109598098
Of course I don't have a passport.

>>109598102
There is no way to stop them from taking my fingerprints, retard. I've been trying to find a solution for months, there is none. They at least claim to delete the fingerprints immediately and only put them on your ID. I don't believe them but it's not as if I had a choice.

>>109598103
They claim that they don't save them but delete them immediately after encripting and putting them onto your ID. This would mean that someone finds or checks your ID and can copy your fingerprint. With a damaged chip, this wouldn't be possible anymore.
>>
>>109598128
>>109598162

Doesn't work, they send you home if they can't find a good fingerprint and force you to return later. Their sensors check for manipulated fingertips.
>>
>>109598186
aaaah, so youre talking about *taking* your fingerprints
nah youre fucked there

what you can do, though
is avoid *leaving* fingerprints
thats where the wood glue thing comes into play
its the way to wear gloves, but without wearing them
bc cameras and shit
>>
>>109598215
It's less about leaving fingertips (I'm not a criminal) but more about someone copying my fingertips to frame me.
>>
>>109598085
I tried to dodge it, too, but as it turns out the german ID is not even bad with regards to security and use-case shit. They could actually use it even more instead of forcing apps, but they won't, because they don't like good technology

>They claim that they don't save them
What would be the point in having your finger-print on your ID, if the government or anybody else don't also have it to compare it by.
>>
>>109598085
get an 8x AAA/AA pack, put every single one of them in series (have fun doing that, get some wood/carbon and make a shape that will hold them all with enough pressure to make reliable contact) to get ≥12V and then place your test leads from your multimeter that you managed to connect to that 12V contraption to the chip's terminals, going in pairs from top left to bottom left, shorting every possible pair, that is only if the chip is visible like on credit cards
that's what I do with sim cards when they're failing so nobody can extract my saved contacts
>>
You are really making a poor example out of germany right now. The RFID is not going to hurt you. You are already bombarded with non-ionizing radiation 24/7/365. I live in San Francisco. I am fucking bombarded by non-ioniznig radiation constantly. You don't see people in San Francisco dying prematurely, do you? I see asians here living well into old age, still walking about and enjoying city life, riding on muni, having a nice time. I see people of all walks of life and all ages, nobody is dying from non-ionizing radiation here, and we have probably the most of it on Earth. So please, get over your fucking conspiracy theory.
>>
>>109598319
Will it destroy the chip before it melts the plastic?
>>
so does france. I think I read somewhere that prints were optional, but no one asked for my opinion when I renewed my card. They registered them as a matter of course.

To compare it with your fingerprints, so you don't use another person's ID card, according to them. But it doesn't really matter what they say because it isn't one of the things I can change.

>>109598365
Did you give up on reading anything in this thread after the first three words? This isn't about radiation, it's about forcing you to give your fingerprint to the government and being forced to carry it around on your documents.

This is simply not true, you don't even know if your chip works when you travel unless you scan it regularly. E-Gates won't open for you but customs officers will check them manually. My last ID stopped working at some point and I travelled by plane without any issues.

do you have a phone that supports NFC? using https://f-droid.org/packages/im.nfc.nfsee/ I was able to scan my debit card and my ID (not German, but also an EU member state)
ofc it won't let you read the fingerprint data itself, but at least I think you can use this way to verify whether your attempts at destroying the RFID chip were successful. Just try different things, like putting it in the freezer or whatever, until your phone can no longer detect the ID.

People in the west have less than 2 years left to get local AI hardware and get off the internet. The cattle in zog-occupied nations are being set up to be marked and herded, and there is nothing that can be done anymore to stop it.

People are going to be basically mind-controlled by Claude in a couple years and it will be very difficult to tell what's real on the internet anymore, including documented events from the recent past. The internet is already an extremely hostile place for normal human cognition, it will be much, much worse in two years. I don't know what's after that, but it sure seems like these people want to enslave humanity, and it's looking like they win.

Get local AI and get off the internet.

>>
>>109598944
AI chatbot will give you 90% of what the internet can give you. The internet was good and useful at some point, not anymore. It's about to be killed or subverted to enslave you. If you want the good and useful part of the internet, an AI chatbot can be that. Sort of like a condensed internet. LLMs aren't perfect at all but they are dense mechanism for knowledge retrieval.

yes just make the card float on top of water that will provide enough of cooling effect, this literally needs 1 second, you can go for a second 1 second burst, then try reading it to see if it works, likely wont, damage will be minimal, just slightly warped plastic

RFID is a tracking device

Adam Savage from Myth Busters back during myth busters they wanted to test an RFID tracking theory since back then documents with RFID started to be released and people were very suspicious, so Myth Busters wanted to do part of an episode on it, but when they started to do research on this, they got very stern discouraging, and then parent company didn't want anything to do with the topic.

So basically this technology after 9/11 is actively used to track, I am not sure how true, maybe someone with Flipper Zero or HackRF can confirm, but i imagine if you enter any public spaces, airports, they can track all RFIDs in 3D space and know who is who
>>
>>109598085
microwave the card, that will cause the chip to pop. But keep in mind the chip is just a number that links to their database, so you won't really achieve anything

>>
>>109598085
how about we talk about the retarded implementation of eID here?
>always have to put in the 6 digit number on the card to do anything with the card (fine on its own)
>the moment you input that number, the reader can read most of your information
>that means it is essentially useless for anyone but the government (who you are forced to trust)
>that means if your PC is compromised and you use your eID to sign a document or whatever, the attacker can easily read information he could use to take out a loan in your name (since the law still permits hassle-free loans)
>one of the useful features for the average person would have been the presence certificate, for which, once again, you have to put in the code that lets the reader read exactly who you are, what your document number is, your "ssn" and more, so the ONLY benefactors of this feature will be companies you can trust with giving all of your information out to.
the only things behind an actual pin are personal and signing certificates
>>
>>109599918
>the only things behind an actual pin are personal and signing certificates
but they're useless security-wise if someone can still forge your signature and it being deemed as valid
so at this point activating and using the eID just exposes you to more possible data leaks and problems that it just doesn't solve since it still isn't treated as the only source of truth for important documents

>someone covertly taking your ID can quickly copy your personal information without you even knowing it happened, copy your "biometric" photo to whatever device he's reading it from
better not lose sight of that wallet ever again
it just accelerates dangers without providing much of anything

maybe we'll get actual zero knowledge proofs and no data leaks for simply accessing the card in 2050 lmao
>>

Manufacturers who manufacture for FIPS are set up to make huge gains over the coming years, mainly because FIPS has updated its policy to mandate the move away from RSA to new cipher suites, such as Kyber/CRYSTALS-Dillethium . The reason being is that if a serious quantum computer gets built, shors will break RSA, every RSA (even PGP) encrypted message going back in time becomes trivially readable. Doesn't matter if you used RSA4096, it's plaintext. Thankfully the statute of limitations applies.

Anyway, upgrade your PGP key to use Kyber. Research what companies are winning FIPS contracts, especially contracts with regard to HSM (hardware security module) devices.. Those companies are the ones that will win over the coming years, as these FIPS mandates roll out to government agencies.
