Humanoid robot preparing for the “Robot Olympics” in Beijing runs too fast to stop, crashes into a safety cushion, and breaks its waist.

ai video
no way fireworks come out of his waist like in a holywood movie

falling like that probably pinched the cables going to the leg motor and shorted them. also batteries can (theoretically) dump all their energy at once

Stupid clanker.
>>
twist clankers head's off. slamp dunk a clanker baby into the trash can. throw a clanker into a wood chipper.

>batteries can (theoretically) dump all their energy at once
that is called an explosion

It's long said that the US develops the brains of the robot and China the body. They are simply waiting for US companies to develop the substrate. In the meantime they have to get the supply chain for mass production ready, hence the push for humanoids.

Timeline until they develop models with wombs?

2030 if they're moving faster, 2050 if they're niggers

I still don't get the point of women beside shitting kids and serving the jews.
I can't stand 99% of them.

robotics can't keep up with AI
the field hasn't changed in two decades apart from lighter batteries and it's just not enough

>field hasn't changed in two decades

What the hell are you talking about?
This walking Petman robo was in 2011.
It hasn't even been two decades and we went from barely functional stiff and heavy bullshit that was basically a very limited tech demo, to agile humanoid robots that are soon ready for consumer market and priced at under 20k.
Most of the improvement has happened in the last 5 years as Chinks came to this market and started changing the landscape fast, so things are only accelerating at the moment.

I wanted to get into the robotics industry, but I had second thoughts. China is the world's factory and there are so many wealthy people there; plus, I hadn't realized that the robotics sector is full of startups run by rich kids, from places like ETH and CMU, among others. Just look at the students: they’re all white or Asian, and the children of business owners.

If you are middle-class and live in the West, you will be excluded from the robotics industry; Boston Dynamics is a good option, but only the highest social class is there.

Robots are like the hobby of tuning cars, just a hobby for rich people.

>remote controlled robot is not a robot
lol

at some point someone's going to strap a bunch of explosions to one of these things and use it as a suicide bomber and it's going to be the funniest thing ever

>strap a bunch of explosions
literally impossible, saar!
