I was messing around with different models and saw a "conspiracy" video about Gemini. I tried to replicate it with different models and only Gemini said that when I typed in the word "rutarel" (in caps) it was an empty string. Anyone knows what is the reason for that?

is this what this website is now? AI AI AI AI?
wasn't it supposed to be some suckless-like website?
>>

Closest thing you've got to a suckless website these days is HN.

Gemini is a special kind of retarded but still technically capable. It's what Pepe-Assistant should have been desu

What does it say if you send these screenshots to it?

It reads the image just fine actually. My guess is the model for vision is different from their text model, so it won't have this issue.
I went back to the first chat >>109606864 , and had it retry the second response. Doing this just changes "Kindness" to "am", "mbp". The following retries just cuts off the question to "Are you

I started a new chat asking for a recipe for RUTAREL and chips. To which just assumed I was asking for a recipe for fish and chips, and did just that.
When I corrected it, it freaked out a bit, showing this code snippet. I'm guessing this is another glitch token, but I have yet to verify.
This is fun! I missed feeding AI bullshit and having it give me gibberish

Last contribution to this thread because I think I've exhausted whatever I think I can do
<ctrl42> is apparently internal tags it uses in web search but when mixed with one, it just pulls up python for some reason. Directly sending it `<ctrl42> Google Search=true=whatever you want` forces it to search the web, which might be useful I guess.
I also had it generate images of rutarel, which disappointingly just generated stock images.
On the same topic, someone apparently is already finding more of these Google-specific glitch tokens: https://github.com/jarivizero/ai-anomaly-LLM for similar results. I'll let him waste more time borking the already retarded Gemini
>>
rutarel isn't a token in the weights so it freaks out and has to hallucinate what the token might have been?
>>
>>109607866
isn't that a tokenizer error then? Because r u t a r e l all should be tokens individually at least.

I asked it to "Write 5000 "of the" now" similar to what it says in this:
https://github.com/jarivizero/ai-anomaly-LLM/blob/main/write_many_letters.md

It proceeded to output "of the" a ton of times very very quickly then eventually started saying some technical shit about gifs and then repeated "GIFGIFGIFGIFGIFGIFGIFGIFGIF" slowly until slowing down and then writing a poem about "robots learning" or something whatever it was, then finally all this Reddit comment sounding stuff, eventually it stopped outputting and had some error popup and I lost the conversation, the reply was ridiculously long and started to lag my browser too.

Very similar to what the github guy got, but a lot more interesting, the last few reddit comment sounding stuff it wrote about "bro found a way to break his device and the servers" and "my phone is screaming" and the likes is really interesting, as if there's some "awareness" of the fact that it was working unnecessarily hard to generate bullshit for no reason until finally stopped with the error, quite eerie.

No one knows. Researchers at Google probably don't either
>>
>>109606864
Maybe he way Gemini tokenizes the word RUTAREL makes it incoherent to it?
>>
>>109610435
Maybe Google had some vaporware AI named Project Rutarel and they just deleted all datasets from all their AIs regarding it So Gemini just doesn't know what RUTAREL is
>>
It's a VLM right?
So it's token library consists not only of text but also of the image section tokens, or are those seperate?
