TN panel, contrast 500:1 (or lower), only covers 50% RGB, 220 nits brightness, 60 hz.

Don't wanna buy a new laptop just yet as I can't really justify a new purchase even though it looks like ass (the laptop itself is fine lol)

an alternative is just buying a monitor, keyboard, and mouse and speakers I guess and just use it as a docking when you're at home. doesn't need to be that expensive and better experience than buying a more expensive laptop. you don't need to buy some expensive docking either, but if you want to have more screens, an usb-c hub is an inexpensive item that usually has hdmi port
