I use it on Firefox + uBO and never ever ever get ads.I don't have anything against alt frontends, I just want to modify the original website to my liking and that's not always possible with other frontends.
Stop thinking you know what you want. Having a timeline of content posted by people you follow isnt good for user retention. What if there is nothing you like or you have seen everything? Algorithmic feeds are better because it takes away the burden of discovery.
