Alright now I need some help. I've been into VR on and off for the last few years, bought a quest 2 about a year after it came out. I was happy with it for a while but as I've descended further into the tech and security schizo rabbit hole, I've started to like it less and less. Couple that with the fact that it's starting to get old, I'm now in the market for a new headset. I really don't want to buy another meta quest, but I also don't want to light my wallet on fire and the value on offer is enticing with the quest 3's. For reference, I'm going to be using it exclusively for PCVR, no standalone shit that looks like a potato. My desktop is running CachyOS. Hardware wise, I have an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, 32 GB of DDR4, and an RTX 3060 12GB. I know, a real powerhouse. Honestly I haven't had issues with performance playing most VR games. What kind of headsets would you recommend?

>>109610586nta but i used to have it, its USB-C to a shitass box that then takes in DP and USB-A 3.0 from your PC. not sure if it works on linux but the windows software sucks but not as much as the meta one. probably the only and best deal unless you spend 500+ on sofisticated shit like a pico enterprise.
I use a Quest Pro with VirtualDesktop.Waiting for Frame and then I'll add Babble mouth to it for face tracking until there's a module for it natively.
