finally bit the bullet and upgraded from my 1080 to a 5060ti 16gb (needed the same power envelope for my PSU). Later updates to comfyui and pytorch shit made me jump through hoops just to get it to run.

The GTX 1080 ti have 11gb of VRAM (which is way more than a lot of "modern" gpu), it's also still faster in pure rasterization than a lot of "modern" xx60/70 card and it's only cost ~150$ on ebay.
