It's bad if they're getting entertainment from AI fiction, it's even worse when they decide to buy shit from influencers, I assume many of which are either AI themselves or parroting AI-generated pitches & testimonials. In the past few months, I've seen my father buy multiple products for his dog (anti-anxiety pills, essential oils for fleas, some anti-itching thing) and they ALL arrive in the same basic plastic container with a clearly home-printed label on the outside.
