Apple makes overpriced mediocre products and obviously that's not the reason for their success. What makes Mac successful is their marketing. They are absolute masters in creating and maintaining a cult following. Apple appeals to the normal cattle because Apple products are moron proof and simple to use. Most Aaple users aren't even aware of all the features an iToy or Mac has. But they're locked down so hard the average moron can't break it unintentionally. And, as I said, their marketing has been off the charts stellar. Normal cattle are susceptible to marketing, FOMO, FOTM. You're talking about the majority of the population that engages in TikTok challenges and posts their food on Facebook and Instagram and worships and YouTubers. They also worry about fitting in with the rest of normal cattle. It's extremely important to them. I have met some and know some Apple users that are legit intelligent people, but the vast majority of those I've met are literally just mindless NPCs.

Mac is unix so it is automatically much better than Windows. It is rock-stable, fast and efficient. It occupies that sweet spot between the usability of windows where even the worst retards can use it and the convenience when doing more technically advanced things offered by linux. Entire workflows can be lifted from linux directly into macOS and run.You hate macOS because you are brown and poor, in all likelihood you never had a chance to try it. You will never earn a fraction of my income.

Me. Got tired of the sluggishness and buggishness of my Win11 box. And the work machines were even worse, total hell. So I tried Linux first but got annoyed by the "nothing just works" thing, I like to work on my development not the OS. Then gave Mac a shot and have really enjoyed it, everything is pretty smooth and functional. A good OS isn't noticed. It's the only one of the 3 I usually don't notice. Quick start ups, few bugs, 0 sluggishness.
