>>109640213>>GPU>Get the best one you're willing to pay for.just don't be poor, bitches.
I am replacing my shit laptop and have 1000-2000 usd to spend is this build optimal?
>>109640276It's gotten bad, honestly. Very bad. covid / crypto bad.
>>109640323Looks finePrice difference between 750W and 850W PSU isn’t that big.I might consider stepping up to the MPG A850GS for a $20 difference.
>>109640323The 5800x3d is really only worth buying if you already have an AM4 motherboard. Ryzen 9600 performs pretty much the same, you can use the difference in cost to buy DDR5, and then you'll be able to upgrade the CPU in 4 years time.
>>109640325I should have buyboughted a 5090 for $2000 last year...
>>109640450Yeah, realistically, my social situation prohibited me queueing up.I'm glad in the end, because total happiness in the world increased.
RTX 3050 8G - $125AMD Ryzen 5 5600 - $130Corsair ddr4 16gb 3200mhz - $80Crucial P310 1TB - 80$Vetroo M06 - $50Peerless Assassin 120 SE - $30Can anyone recommend a decent MoBo and PSU for this build? It's really hard to find good 500w to 600w PSU.
>>109640450i told them to buyderize blackwell 6000. they didnt listen.
I think it's time I finally get a UPS. Mostly just for power smoothing. Where I live outages are very rare, but most houses are quite old.No idea what features I'm looking for, suggestions?
>>109640776You probably want USB monitoring. Also I would not buy a UPS that uses offline topology.
I gotta say, GeForce now is good option if you want to wait till the ai bubble explodes. Looks great and runs smooth if you’re close to a server and have fiber.
>>109640553uh, i think your prices are on the low side, anon. any B550 or X570 board. the cheapest one since you are going for mega ultra budget pro minmax.
>>109640213Hello.I have never built a PC before, and was wondering what I could do with a $1000 USD budget for a gaming pc. I already have a 1TB NVMe drive. I see the mATX case recommendation and like the AP201, with the budget 7500F. I am curious what motherboard and PSU / Graphic Card you would use for this set up. Thank you.
>>109640862Those are the parts I already have. Been deal hunting on facebook. But I didn't want to get a used MoBo or PSU there, since they break really easily. And I didn't want to get the cheapest possible MoBo or PSU, because those are what are most likely to fry the rest of your parts.
>>109640553Looking at your budget and presuming you will spend less on the mb than the gpu, I would say look for a Asus B550 motherboard. There's loads of them on sale on used platforms for under $100.As for the cpu I'd look for branded psu, seasonic, corsair, evga etc gold rated at 650 - 750 watts
>>1096409109070 or 9060xt750-850w psub650e or b850
>>109640998Is a used MoBo really safe, though? Can't parts on it get bent really easily?
>>109640553>>109640998>650-750On second thoughts you'd comfortably run it on a 500w psu
>>109641014Buying used is a risk. But in my experience as long as you buy a decent brand such as Asus you should be OK.Look for a seller who still has the box, it's a good tell that they have a bit of conscientious about them and they had reselling in mind when they bought it (they probably took care of it).
>>109641036Okay. I'll have to hunt around for a good B550 board then. Thanks.
