Is generative AI good for small businesses?
>>
>>109650810
yes but also devastating to the indian IT and call center industry
>>
if i see someone marketing their product with low effort ai images I'll assume their product is low effort trash too. So do most normies
>>
Why does every one of these posts read like someone justifying their fentanyl addiction.
>>
>>109650824
Programmers and Software Testers are finished but I think call centers will hold on bc normies still like to talk to other people and not machines.
Gen Z are too scared to make phone calls so...
>>
>>109651019
source on programmers being finished? if anything jobs are just being moved to india now, completely opposite effect u fags are claiming >>109650824

I don't know, but I'm in the music field and a lot of indie local bands in my area have a Dunning-Kruger mindset over it, people in the art fields despise AI like a disease, because they mindlessly repeat: "humans should do the creative process not a robot huurrr durrr". Isn't taking what inspired you and creating something new the whole point? No one is actually original, they are all inspired by something, but when a robot does it then oh noes!!

Luddites, that's what they are, they were scared of the internet because "hurr durr just go to the library and read a book", they opposed the wheel because "hurr durr the horse and carriage is what I'm used to".

Pic rel is an example of the local bands in my area trashing ai.

>I think call centers will hold on bc normies still like to talk to other people and not machines.
nobody wants to talk to an indian that will stretch out the call to waste time and not do as they are asked to
>>
>>109651082
sounds like ur projecting. especially the dunning kruger part lol
>>
>>109651082
most ai music is low effort slop. what makes it vulgar for artists is that they get drowned out by the most mid shit possible. There is good ai content out there but it's the midwits as usual that ruin everything

>Luddites, that's what they are, they were scared of the internet because "hurr durr just go to the library and read a book", they opposed the wheel because "hurr durr the horse and carriage is what I'm used to".

If a person writes a book, it is still an intellectual exercise, someone's thoughts and feelings have created that.
Generating a book is letting a machine think and create for you.

Same with image or video generation. Even repurposed AMVs and YTPs had human thought and creativity behind them. AI is just automatic.

A wheel does not think or create for you.
A book does not think or create for you.
The internet 1.0 did not think or create for you.
This is why it is called artifcial intelligence. It is the death of our humanity and problem solving through human reasoning.
Keep making bad faith arguments.
Your artist friends may be performative but that does not make them any less right.

eat worms
>>
>>109651115
I do agree with you because the models were trained on low quality mp3s and the people prompting are lazy just trying to make a quick buck, but that doesn't make AI in general bad, I'd like to see these people find a cure for cancer like what AI researchers are doing.
>>109651121
Again, with the other guy, let's say I make a terrible YTP back in Windows movie maker, does that mean all video editors are bad? Those videos were edited on copyrighted material ripped from a DVD or something, does that mean all youtube poopers are pirates?

Funny enough it's what humans are doing with AI is what's making ai bad.
>>
>>109651198
Are you a blue haired liberal fighting for climate change? That and people shocked that AI is doing better than them.
>>
why are ai bros so delusional? is it cuz they have no skills so they project their ineptitude onto others?
>>
>>109651218
>>109651219
>>109651223
AI is a tool, cope.
You are the retards for saying don't use a tool, go build a house without a hammer and say I don't have skills.
>>
>>109651242
The only responses I got was being called a retard while being accuses me of bad faith, ironic.
>>
>>109651237
>AI is a tool
true, it's an automation tool with wide production applications, but it still doesn't and never will replace human mind
>>
>>109650810
>word salad with a disclosure at the end
no wonder I couldn't read the text and just jumped to the last paragraph.
>>
>>109651121
Good, these are some of the right talking points.
>>109651175
>wwooooooossshhhhh
That's the sound of you missing the point.
The problem is not piracy. A human mind still made those original works. Artists are inspired by the ideas of those that came before them, just as Steve Jobs and his team couldn't have created the iPhone without there being a long history of science and innovation that preceded them.
Art is just that: a person shaping this rich intellectual history in their own way through a form of communication, whether that's music, literature, or other formats.
A work of art cannot simply exist on its own. There must be a sender and a receiver - a thinking entity on one side able to interpret the ideas of the other. What the listening party gets is a transmission of human consciousness itself.
Even procedural music falls under this umbrella, since it took someone to program the generator. A random number generator cannot be creative. Where is the line drawn? Neural networks - they are the systems which replace thinking, and thought is synonymous with creativity.
Art is a celebration of our existence on this earth, as the only species on the planet capable of coming up with new, creative ideas, using rational decision-making to improve our own lives.
>>
>>109650810
Did they AI the picture of themselves as a pig? Also the saw comparison makes little sense, its more like a carpenter having a mexican specter doing most of the work for him. I understand the time savings AI can do but the people that use it really need to understand that it is obvious you use it and the quality of work is lower without even the "human element" excuse.
>>
why should I care about small businesses? they are a waste of resources and inefficient, they should be replaced as they are by large corporations.
>>
>>109651115
most music is low effort slop and "musician" hasn't been a real job since the 1930s
>>
>>109651082
Oh man that is so funny. I saw that post and wound up that fat feller something ruthless. Then at the end I said lmao j/k bro have fun with your little band, and he had to pretend he wasn't seething.

Anyone who says AOTEAROA is gay as hell.
>>
>>109651775
and then everyone stood up and clapped
>>
>>109650810
>Is generative AI good for small businesses?
Yes, clearly. Even in its currently disorganised and unoptimised state it's hugely helpful, as your screenshot demonstrates.
>>
>>109651821
What are you talking about? I was going back and forth with the guy on facebook for ages. It's probably still up you could go and find it.

Imagine being so mentally ill you don't believe someone shitposted on the internet.
>>
>>109651237
Its not a "tool". A hammer doesnt build the house for you on command. AI is a specter that does the work for you. Like Solomon summoning demons to build his temple. Or a builder summoning Mexicans to build a house for his client. A tool is used. You dont use AI, you ask it to do something.
>>
>>109650810
zased
most AI generated images look like fucking shit though
>>
>>109651524
This.
AI art is a monstrosity.
>>
>>109650810
very btfo of a post
>>
>>109650810
>Haha fellow small business owners
