I-it's a bubble!
>>109657087How's that supposed to disprove that it's a bubble?
>>109657093>luddite still at it
>>109657087retard here, what dos Hugging face even do? Isn't it just a big server with tons of HDDs storing LLMs? What's so special about that?
>>109657087Dude they are literally printing money in any case.
>>109657087>Make github clone>Sell it for $13 billion ten years laterWhere's your billion dollars anon?
>>109657093stop asking questions
>>109657111Yeah.That's how business goes though.
>>109657105It's ok, just give me the LLM arguments as to why that points to it not being a bubble. I will have a second question though so keep some tokens ready for that!
>>109657118>288 BILLION profit>5090 still costs 6000 USD
>>109657111You just described the cloud
>>109657111data. user data and telemetry is the only thing that matters in the age of ai solving any software problem you have.
>>109657087Based. Hopefully open-weight models become illegal as part of this so only American businesses will win AI.
Bubble does not mean something is going away. It means people over-extend and over-invest expecting a certain return to pay off loans they obtained to buy large volumes of stock and when the value does not meet expectations they end up under water.Same thing happened with railroad investors. Railroads are of course still around but many investors were sunk.Dot-com, same thing. People borrowed hundreds of thousands or millions and did not even get back 5% of what they borrowed. Internet is still here but those investors went homeless or self deletion. This happened recently in South Korea with AI and tech. People over-borrowed and over-invested. Their stock market is not diverse. Lots of gen-z homeless now. Those are results of bubbles.
>>109657197Something will have to go away unless everyone is investing on something that is already there. Even then people invest because of future opportunities, not the current state of something.
>>109657197>This happened recently in South Korea with AI and techkek> be Samsung> printing money> peak at almost 200% YTD> retards gamble on it with massive leverage> stock drops 30%> wipe out all gamblersSamsung is still doing great btw (+105% YTD right now)
>>109657197Are you retarded? Of course being a bubble means it stop existing after it pops. That's why mortgages are no longer a thing after 2008
>>109657225>Of course being a bubble means it stop existing after it pops.>That's why mortgages are no longer a thing after 2008And why the internet cased to exist after the dotcom bubble.
>>109657229>Well if not all of it is gone that means nothing is gone
>>109657229>And why the internet cased to exist after the dotcom bubble.Well yeah, why do you think it's called Web 2.0?
>company buying one of its customerswhat is this strategy called
>>109657238Because 1.0 was so good?
>>109657225That's not what happened at all. President Clinton made it possible for banks to buy and sell sub-prime loans. Sub-prime means a loan that should have never been approved in the first place. BTW it's legal to do that again, just in different ways.
>>109657087Seems like a gold rush, and Nvidia are the ones selling shovels
>>109657246Why would anyone buy a subprime loan? It doesn't make sense to bother regulating them because there's no incentive to give them out or buy them.
>>109657240Circular investment scam?It also becomes an infinite money cheat code when the money printer goes brrrrrr to avoid collapse.
>>109657257Loans were put into packages so you couldn't buy a single loan but multiples only. Then packaged up the bad ones with a few poster good ones so people thought they were buying golden when all they got is a golden turd
>>109657257I am not explaining this to you. Get an AI to explain sub-prime loans, why banks bought and sold them, incentives, etc... Or, watch our favorite investment advisor explain ithttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KVMwB7W66E
>>109657265Caveat emptor—no regulation needed.>>109657274This is just more evidence that there are too many regulations: eliminate them all and let the market decide.
>>109657087if hf people want to retire they should take itif hf people wish to (already are) establish themselves from now until forever they should not take itjust those payed membership options they offer are possibility for massive profits
>>109657293>This is just more evidence that there are too many regulations: eliminate them all and let the market decide. That was the 1920's. Wash trading, bucket shops, etc... pretty much free-for-all. Many lost money. Many criminals made money.
>>109657305Regulations create criminals.
>>109657314You jest, but not entirely wrong. It creates disproportionately more of the creative white collar crims vs the gangsta crims as they have to navigate the intentionally complex legal and financial system.
>>109657087A market leader probably shouldn't be allowed to buy out the face of open source in that market
>>109657334Current president will 100% ignore the issues with that if it stims the economy slightly
>>109657314Without regulation the same people will do worse things. Won't technically be 'criminals' but does that matter?
>>109657342Oh go fuck yourself, nothing would be any different under anybody else that could have been in his position, all the politicians everywhere all over the world are all in on AI
>>109657350The market decides: if you don't like them then deal with it.
>>109657225I remember when the internet disappeared after the dotcom bubble. Dark times. Same with when the videogame bubble burst, nobody ever played a videogame ever again.
>>109657224>> retards gamble on it with massive leverageNot retards. The median monthly income for Korean men is about 3 million KRW, while the average Seoul apartment price is 1.3 billion KRW and the median price is 997 million KRW. That means you'd need to work for about 25~30 years just to buy a home, but job tenure is getting shorter, so that's not realistic. So people gamble on leverage, hoping for a life changing win. Everyone around me knows it's gambling, but they figure they're already in a dead end situation anyway, so they have nothing to lose.
>>109657246>President Clinton made it possible for banks to buy and sell sub-prime loans. Sub-prime means a loan that should have never been approved in the first place. It's more that Bush made it so banks and 'investment firms' could combine, and sell sub-prime loans on the stock market. And then removed regulations that said what kind of sub-prime loans could be offered. That cokehead's administration did more harm than the last three combined and it's not even close.
>>109657390>That means you'd need to work for about 25~30 years just to buy a homethat's the situation on almost every country, doesn't mean you should blow everything on gamblingKoreans are just retards
>>109657432wrong.your mortgage is 25% of your income for 25~30 years, not 100%.
>>109657087So they are making the bubble bigger? This is going to fun to watch. Horrible for most that wageslave.
>>109657140cool it with the antisemitism

>>109657611You’re trans lol
>>109657257You take a hundred grade C loans and put them in a bundle and the bundle is grade A because even if a couple default they won't all default and you'll make money. Then have an economic downturn when suddenly the entire bundle is defaulting
>>109657087>in serious talks>intendsThese are all just terms used to push up stonks without actually acquiring or doing anything. They say these talmudic words and magically the stonks go up without needing to do anything and they will not receive punishment for market manipulation. The yehudim doesn't deal in the real world, they let the goyim do that.

>>109657087it'll be a pay service so doesn't matter.
>>109657093They look at large amounts of money moving around and assume it means it's all feasible in the long term.Conveniently ignoring the foundation of trillions in investment and debt that is expected to be paid back.
