Linux moment

Went to boot my pc today and this was what I was greeted with. Why does Linux constantly shit itself in confusion?
>>
>>109660478
Vgh the arch experience
>>
>>109660493
I didn’t even update lel. I shut down. Went to bed. Woke up. Made coffee, turned my pc on and now this. And I gotta figure out how to fix it.
>>
>>109660478
You probably edited some file somewhere and suddenly it broke everything, if it's not you then it's apt/dpkg doing it.
>>
>>109660516
I was playing a video game. I exited the game. Watched some porn. Jerked off. Shut down and went to bed. I don’t fuck with it. Linux just does this.

This is why we only run Solaris on SPARC in this household
>>

just get AMD?
>>
>>109660478
This is you shitting yourself in confusion. If you need the nvidia module, why are you blacklisting it?
>>

Die? Crawl? Explain.
>>
I love how when Linux shits itself people look for reasons to defend it. I’ve had similar issues on amd. Shit will just fuck up out of nowhere and distrohoppers will come out of the woodwork to blame you. Like somehow they can’t fathom that Linux really is that shitty.
>>
>>109660568
Yeah I just switched back to arch. I don’t understand why void can’t just stay working. I enabled snapshots. It was working great.
>>
>>109660962
It’ll happen on debian based distros as well. The only distribution worth anything is Debian. But even then it’s not that great. Arch is good until it breaks from updoots. There doesn’t seem to be a distribution that continues to just be a working os. It’ll function for a few weeks or so then blow up. Windows works but that’s spyware. We really need a 3rd alternative at this point. My strong suggestion is either Debian if you’re retarded or Gentoo. Gentoo tends to stay working. It just needs a lot of handholding to get to the point of working. Once you make the jump into Gentoo, all other distributions seem less than.
>>
Does NTFS have COW / Snapshotting yet?
Thought not.

>>109660856
I'm also noticing a bad habit of Linux to edit shit it shouldn't.

Nvidia is probably the freetards' number one enemy because it's not foss, so what's happening doesn't surprise me one bit.

I stick to lenovo craptops or specialized computers when I use Linux, otherwise it's 100% windows for me on modern "cutting-edge" hardware, even though Microsoft are a bunch of greedy clowns.
>>
>>109660458
I miss Internet Explorer 9
>>
>>109660992
Arch doesn't break from updates. You can also roll back software that isn't working for you.
>>
>>109660681
This.
>>
>>109661366
Kali Linux did that to me 1 time
Never used it afterwards, had no problem on debian doe
>>
>>109661491
Kali Linux is for haxers and skiddies to do very specific tasks. Why were you using that in a way where updates breaking are a thing that affects you?
>>
>>109661518
I had to update a dependency to install a new tool that required it. Ran the command apt get upgrade + update and the thing klilled itself after reboot
>>
>>109661551
Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't apt install the dependency just normally? I thought that was Arch based when looking at context and description so updating is an understandable thing, but there's no reason to ever update Debian crap.
>>
>>109661704
That something already installed on my system something like libc, I don't remember what it was exactlybecause it's been a decade since that happened.
>>
>>109661817
Yea I wouldn't know either, Debian based stuff is way too difficult to use for my taste.
>>
>>109660856
Notice how mac is basicly unix and runs almost perfectly
>>
>>109660478

just die.
>>
>>109660458
Wrong. Nowadays Linux is a better Windows than Windows.
>>
>>109664603
Notice how Mac is made by Apple and not by a bunch of sperglords who obsess themselves over foss and troon politics
>>
>>109660513

Same experience loonix basically shits itself.

>Nooo it is systemD!!!
Ok. However you need all kinds of crap to get the loonix OS to even work I do not care what part of it or what driver did shit itself.

This is the reality of loonix.
Is the looonix commu wants to be taken seriously the major distros need to get their shit together.

>Ree systemD
Ok. However debian, mint, fedora,Ubuntu all ship with systemD how about fixing their shit OS by removing systemD???
>>
>>109660856
This. Linux has the potential to be a good OS to bad it's community is the problem from mentally ill devs who troll the community making the worst decisions imaginable to the community defending all this crap to death.

Linux euthanizing itself after X days is not the worst and the Linux app store + spyware + no installets is the real cancer
>>
>>109660856
>Why is this happening?
My theory? StstemD fucked its own binary logs and now you get trash there is a reason no one uses binary logs. Linux like windows is spyware shit and records all you do in the os and writes all of it to some binary shit. Windows fucking over its own registry was a big thing back in the day

That's not spyware behavior, that's how server administrators can troubleshoot problems o algo.
I bet you can't name me any operating system that doesn't print any logs
