New Brave Shields icon in Brave Origin.
You will not find a better chromium-based browser.
>>
>>109668715
Oh wow, a brand new icon, I'm totally downloading your malware now.
>>
>>109668747
Can you explain what's so "malware" about it without sounding like a schizo?
>>
>>109668715
Brave is scummy trash and chromium to boot
buy an ad
>>
>>109668715
ungoogled chromium is better

based. Love brave.
>>
>>109669884
What, for the 700th time? No, you're just going to ask for the same thing tomorrow, you scumbag astroturfer. There are literally no use cases for your bloated scamware.
>>
>>109669884
>Can you explain what's so "malware" about it
The entire brave browser
>>
Damn /g/, did Brave kill your dog?
>>
>>109669964
yeah it's going to debate you into exhaustion for the 700th time or draw the tranny joker card as a last resort.
>>
>>109670026
I just saw the new icon and thought this is a cool opportunity to talk about the paid Origin version of Brave.
>>
>>109669964
>it's malware because of my 30-paragraph conspiracy theory & a bunch of psychotic adhom
Yeah no.
>>
>>109670021
/g/ is allergic to dogs, cats, and horses. dogs are not meant to live indoors with people in the first place. it's highly unsanitary. cats are only marginally better. pet owners are filthy and lonely.
>>

Buy an ad instead of embarrassing your company like this. Not sure if Hiro takes BAT, but you can probably ask them.
>>
>>109670458
yes it's me john brave himself, I'm here to personally tell you that I'm going to fuck your mother and make her buy brave origin
>>
>>109668715
Where flatpak? Where apk?
>>
>>109670503
I guess you don't get your 5 cents in BAT if you don't keep this joke of a thread bumped. What a sad existence you lead.
>>
>>109670607
I thought it's not a good idea to install chromium browsers via flatpak?

I prefer this one.
Cannot bring myself to use something that is inferior to uBO Lite even.
>>
>>109671554
Wtf how do you make it be Aryan white instead of commie red?
>>
firefox + ubo forever
>>
homofox users HAAAATE brave because Brave's CEO is homophobic.
It's really that simple.
>>
>>109668715
Why isn't there a de-shitcoined brave ad blocker yet
>>
>>109669884
He won't because he can't, especially without using the "but but but the trannies!" argument.
>>
>>109672040
Brave Origin is basically a debloated version of Brave.
>>
>>109672040
>NOOOO you aren't allowed to monetize your browser!!! you have to take money from Google to fund it like everyone else! 1!1!1!!!
>>
>>109671554
In what way is Brave Shields inferior to ublock lite?
>>
>>109670607
Current Flatpak for browsers breaks sandboxing I believe

>>

Damn, the firefox section is pretty scathing.

Brave is just a chromium fork that does nothing to keep you private

>b-but it blocks trackers
Ok, and? Do you really think they track you only client side? Do you think Brave and all the other "privacy" focused browser have the power to just tell the server to not track you?
>>
>>109669964
>without sounding like a schizo
>>
>>109671541
No they only say that if you're addicted to having your software on the beta/nightly builds. Flatpak should always be the default choice, save for those few instances where you want to do a portable install or it simply doesn't have a flatpak available.

>>109674462
kek
>>
>>109674912
Flatpak screws with built in browser sandboxing. At best you get some host isolation, but at the cost of process/tab isolation.

...who would go out searching a pile of shit?
>>
>>109668715
the Asndroid version doesn't have a black icon
>>
>>109672040
Either use Brave Origin or the debloater entries.
>>
>>109674426
I actually like the mischaracterised first one. I like the idea of fucking up the advertising market and fucking over advertisers
