what would you want in a new browser free of chrome and firefox debt?
Fast, efficient, gets out of my way. UBO integration at its core. Doesn't spy on me and doesn't let others do so. Tells most web standards to go fuck themselves.
>>109677288>Tells most web standards to go fuck themselves.Wouldn't that make most of the modern web unusable?>inb4 that's the point
refuses webp and detects when a site tries to serve a webp file with a .jpg extension and initiates a ddos with everyone's browser (opt in) against any site that does
I just want the original Opera back.In an open source version. I'm never using a proprietary program again after I've seen how easy it is to just buy and destroy one.
>>109677303instead, the browser should just inline convert all webp images to jpg
>>109677281Firefox works fine despite mozilla foundation doing their absolute best to fuck things up at google’s behestLadybug is cope, chromium trash is either on borrowed time (helium etc) or scummy scamware (brave)
>>109677490>Ladybug is copeWhy? It's always good to have another option if Firefox turns to shit
>>109677527>if
>>109677303Based. >>109677365That just degrades image quality further. I just want servers to put the original fucking jpg/png in the bag.
>>109677535Hey buddy where's my fucking Midnight Snacks?
No rust
>>109677281Basically, a browser like I would want, would not be able to render most modern websites... Because browsers are not the problem, the modern internet is. Old browsers from twenty years ago were just fine, before they were forced to add billions of tons of useless shit.
>>109677281>it works>0 (zero) fucking ads, AI or smart functionstjat's it
>>109677281I don't know, I think I'm sticking with Firefox. Haha, I'm just not switching.
>>109677281Built in peer to peer protocol for hosting mostly static sites.
>Thinly veiled ladybird thread AGAINGay
Don't support HTML5 or later. Undeprecate marquee.
>>109677339In case you weren't already aware of this:https://archive.org/details/opera-presto-master-Srchttps://gofile.io/d/X15FinF4
>>109679470does ladybird even do half of what other browsers do yet?
>>109679550It has the same issue as the Windows XP source code, you can't do shit to modernize it unless you want a cease and desist.
>>109681883Some anon was posting here with it in the one thread about it, from the looks of it you could even post without a pass since the captcha was visible in the post window but I'd imagine you'd still have to verify an email since it's going to be seen as suspicious by spur.us, I forgot to ask him about it.
invulnerability and super strength, ideally flight too
>>109681883No but anons here hope it will actually become mature and usable, which it won't.
>>109685294What
>>109684535>you can't do shit to modernize it unless you want a cease and desist.you can do whatever you want to it. Just don't distribute it (publicly)
>>109677365what if it’s a lossless WebPLossless WebP is way better than PNG assuming you don’t need fuckhuge images or more than 8 bits per channel
