>>109681627>doesn't have the versatility of a pc for serious professional work>instead it's supposedly end user friendly but doesn't do gamesi will never understand the appeal of a mac. it has the best of none world.
>>109681742Current M series Macs emulate Windows fine and also are fine for even slightly heavier gaming, i.e. Cyberpunk 2077. It's a portable computer with 20 hour battery life though.
>>109681627That's not a laptop, it's over priced toy
>>109681760>The most buggy and fragile oxidation- tier laptop
>>109681786>11th gen>oxidation???
>>109681654Selfie of you if you touch that laptop in the wrong place
Thinkpad x13 with AMD cpu and 5G e-sim is all anyone needs from a laptop
>>109681654HE'S GOT A BOMB EVERYBODY GET DOWN
>>109681786It's 11th gen so no. The problems with the X1 titanium are the shitty keyboard (keypress depth measured on the subatomic scale) and thermal throttling.
>>109682204>shitty keyboard I actually like its tactility more than most other trackpoint chicklets - it has highish initial actuation force with sharp drop, feels more clicky / less rubbery.
>>109682339That's how Lenovo have been able to still have the best keyboards in the biz while still following the thin trend. I have a C13 Chromebook of theirs and the keyboard doesn't suck. It's not great, and it doesn't compare to my museum-piece Lenovo laptop keyboards, but sharper actuation does help.
>>109681761>it's over priced toywhere? he didn't post a plastic windows 11 laptop
>>109681755>It's a portable computerit's literally not a computer. it's a glorified cellphone.
>>109682725M chips aren't used in iPhones though.
>>109682725you're thinking of fagbook neo
>>109682765>ARMback to the cuck chair
>>109682804As much as I like x86/AMD64 and it's still the most performant chip overall, it's also fucking shit, bloat and legacy that can't be replaced quick enough.
>>109682804We're talking about laptops. ARM is the best ISA when it comes to performance:power.
>>109682849it's defeated by a socket
>>109681654Looks painful to use long term. Imagine suspending your arms above that keyboard all day.
>>109682842>bloatAHAHAHAx86's bloat has nothing on Arm's.
>>109682947>most x86 instructions are legacy bloat>most Apple Silicon instructions are actually useful (including hardware x86 emulation)
>>109682947Uh that also includes graphics instructions and AI acceleratorplus what >>109682955 said>(including hardware x86 emulation)
>>109682947>But muh instructionsYou know what an instruction decoder is? Dunning Kruger goes hard in this thread.

I like my Thinkpad X230 TabletIt's a little slow to use for most things these days, but it's pretty awesome for a 14 year old laptop.I have an i7, SSD, linux & 16GB of RAM on mine so it's decent for its age
>>109683176GIGA BASED
>>109682955>including hardware x86 emulationNeat, but Tim Cook is intending to kill this feature completely in the future.
>>109683210>Tim CookHow? He doesn't even work at Applel.
>>109683234you mean he isn't the CEO anymorehe has a honorary position still
>>109683234He's still the CEO as of today.
>>109682966>includes graphics instructions and AI acceleratorNope. Nice try though.>>109682955>Apple Silicon instructions are actually useful Oh yes, 30 different ways of copying bytes sure looks useful and not at all bloated, right?
