I found an iPad Mini 3 that looks relatively new. Since I’d feel bad throwing it away, I thought maybe I could turn it into something useful, like a DM screen for D&D. I only know my way around Android, though. Is it possible to jailbreak this thing or somehow force it to run a higher version of iOS? Some of the apps I’d like to use require iOS 15+, and this thing is stuck on 12.5.8.

Sucks because I bought a iphone 8 full new battery for like 50 bucks the other week while thirft shopping. Can't use it for much other than a burner/backup phone

Probably 80% of apps just wrap the internal safari browser… the “app” part is just to steal your data, contacts, and track your geolocation.
